As a graphic and interior designer, I've worked with Gregg for over 20 years. His vision, sense of design, and ability to transform his clients sometimes vague ideas into striking and functional furniture sets him apart. Although anchored in the Mid-century Modern design vocabulary, Gregg's work is truly unique. Over the years I've often asked myself, "Where did that come from?" It's always a pleasure to work with Gregg, and often a journey into new ways of thinking about furniture and our interior environment.

Firstly, Gregg Lipton is a humble, down-to-earth family person who loves what he does. Buying a piece of Gregg Lipton Furniture was like buying a high-end car. The engineering, construction, visual appeal and pride of ownership is off the chart. I am a connoisseur of fine woods and I appreciated the time Gregg spent finding the figured woods I wanted. These were not merely bedroom and dining room sets, these were statement pieces that people will marvel over after my lifetime! I had the opportunity to visit his Maine shop where he builds his furniture and was smitten.

Gregg has made beautiful furniture for me for over 20 yrs. it is always a pleasure to deal with him and his staff. His work is superb and I can highly recommend Gregg as a fine craftsman. The delivery is always flawless as well.

Gregg Lipton is a master craftsman seldom seen these days. We hired Gregg to make three custom barstools that are the same as those he made for Gramercy Tavern in NYC. Not only did the work turn out beautifully, he helped us with stain, wood and leather choices based upon the other decor in the room. Gregg has an amazing eye and talent for creating timeless furniture designed for comfort and longevity. The pieces arrived on time and budget. We would highly recommend and use Gregg again

Over the last ten or so years Gregg Lipton Furniture has made me some of the nicest looking and most comfortable furniture known to exist. A cherry dining room table with chairs, a King size bed, 2 side tables, one of his classic cherry Rockers as well as a TV stand all made by Lipton Furniture sit in my house now! After many years of use they all are still a pleasure to look at everyday! Because of their heirloom quality I do hope to hand them down to my children for many many more years of use. His attention to every detail in design and finish is amazing. Gregg is professional, timely, communicative, and a pleasure to work with.
