Peggy is friendly enough but lacks imagination and the ability to get the subcontractors she employs to do the job right. One subcontractor even commented that all her bathroom designs look alike. In this case a two week bathroom remodel took six months to complete. Literally everything and anything that could go wrong did including: 1.) Not measuring (vinyl flooring was cut too short and a jacuzzi tub was not measured to see if it could fit up the stairwell). 2.) Not making sure the walls were plumb and the floor was level before installation (custom shower doors had to be recut 4x to fit) 3.) Not checking to see if the existing electric service could handle the needs of the jacuzzi (new lines had to be run at added expense) 4.) Not installing plumbing correctly (It leaked flooding the living room ceiling and basement ceiling tile which the homeowner had to rip out to prevent mold from forming over the weekend because the contractor who botched the job was on another job and couldn't come out) Believe it or not this is NO exaggeration. In fact many more things went wrong that was not listed. In all honesty it was like experiencing the three stooges episode where Curly, Larry and Moe get hired to do a remodel. Lowes reimbursed one third the cost of the job which really is not any consolation because the shower leaked down the wall three months later and even though that was "fixed" the homeowners have been afraid to use it since.
