V.K. & Sons, Inc. successfully completed an expensive job painting the exterior of my house during the summer of 2021. They were 100% paid in full for their work and I fully expected to be calling upon them for additional home improvement projects required. That will absolutely not be happening based on what has occurred. While the house exterior painting was being performed, I had V.K.& Sons, Inc. order me a brand new Anderson sliding glass door and Pella window considered as two additional jobs. It took a number of months for these two items to arrive. Both items arrived separately and were installed during colder temperatures. I was told that properly caulking and painting of the Anderson sliding glass door and Pella window could not be completed until we have warmer temperatures in 2022. V.K. & Sons, Inc. were a "no show" in completing this work even though they had already been 100% paid in full for these two jobs. Since we have already had a number of warm days, I was left with no choice but to hire and pay additional money to another highly respected and reputable carpentry/painting contractor to finally complete the proper caulking and painting of the Anderson sliding glass door and Pella window that V.K. & Sons, Inc. failed to do in a timely manner.
In addition, I gave two sizable deposits in November and December 2021 to V.K. & Sons, Inc. for an on or around January 2022 winter scheduled interior paint job After waiting close to 90 days, I requested my two deposits be returned immediately since I realized V.K. & Sons, Inc. had either completely forgotten about my scheduled interior paint job, or had improperly placed other customer's jobs ahead of mine based on the recent GOOGLE reviews that I had read. I was told "good riddance" by the "owner" of V.K. & Sons, Inc. in an e-mail, and that I could pick up my refund check at their Oakland location which I promptly did.
I did recently have my interior paint job finally completed by a different highly respected and reputable carpentry/painting contractor and I am thrilled with the results. I will be calling on them for any and all future home improvement projects, and will be recommending them to anyone seeking help with similar work.
