About Us
Haider Construction Inc, is a licensed, bonded and insured contractor in the State of Washington. Owner and President Ron Haider has over 25 years experience in the roofing and construction business. Our offices are located in Mountlake Terrace, Washington and we serve all areas of King and Snohomish County.
Ron Haider and Chris Sawall both handle remodeling bids and project management. Either Ron or Chris will begin by meeting a prospective remodeling client to review and define the particular requirements of a remodeling job. After the initial meeting,a project bid will be presented that outlays a timeline and expenses. Further meetings are usually needed to fine tune the project’s scope, explain product options, job site considerations and to finalize the budget. Your remodeling project usually begins within weeks of our receiving the signed contract.
Some roofing companies subcontract out their labor but Haider Construction’s roofing crews are our employees. We are proud to mention that the same crews have worked for us for many years and bring their own pride in workmanship to your job. A directly employed crew guarantees a far more reliable service to our customers. All of our employees are required to undergo safety training , and through the Certainteed Select Shingle Roofing program have received additional training and passed examinations that qualify them for this certification. They share in our expectations for excellent customer service.

My wife & I were very impressed with all members of your company. Starting with Dave in sales to Roger your lead man. The options & recommendations were spot on. We were told the projects would take 8 weeks & it took 8 weeks. We are pleased with the end result & will be recommending your company!

We had a dream of an open deck being turned into a covered porch and Haider construction made it happen. It is beautiful and the carpenters were great to work with. They went out of their way to create what we asked for.Thank you for our porch!

We've hired Haider Construction for a few projects: New hardwood floors, replacing carpeted stairs with hardwoods, and replacing windows with a sliding glass wall system. With each project we were given professional advice and great ideas, and each project was completed on time with attention to the last finishing detail. We plan on using Haider Construction to replace our roof in the fall as well.

Roof Modification; required framing, connecting exhausts to roof vents, painting and roofing.
Cost: 22,775 dollars
From the end of November 2019 through March 2020 (expected 2 to 4 weeks, but end up taking 4 months).
Except for the final roofing, the whole project was done by a father and his son (who was just learning) without supervisions. They came with a very old sedan (late 90s model?) which broke down twice during the project. No company logo was on the car. They did not bring their own ladders (as a roofer??) and used the ladder I bought from Goodwill throughout the project. The head man C came here once (8 AM on Jan 7, 2020) because of my complaints. There was no inspection when it was completed.
In January 2021, I found mold and blackened plywood and one of the exhaust connections fell on the floor. After long arguments, the problems were taken care of (?) in April, 2021.
This is his email on 2021 03 16: “…...Then look at it in three years and if there are any failures then you would still be under warranty and we would redo it. I think what we have proposed will work, but if it does not you would still be covered.”
On October 30th 2021, I went up to my attic again after long heavy raining. 3 of the vent connections were disconnected. There is possible leaking from a vent. I do not know how long this has been going on.
All info was sent to Ron, the owner. I called him, before I could explain what happened, he accused me of having another contractor involved in this matter. BTW, I do not and did not have another contractor involved. He did not want to listen to me, cutting me off and telling me to sue him and then he hanged up on me.
All I can say is that he is a very rude and unprofessional business man.
Here were some of the comments he sent me in the past.
2021 03 13 Quote “Gaps??? So what. It is framing and makes no difference. You know nothing about construction.”
2021 03 13 How many inspections do you want on should we do on a small $20,00
No more comments, but JUDGE THIS by YOURSELF!!!

Haider construction remodeled our 2 bathrooms and 1 powder room. David and his team ( Steve and Roger) were excellent. Sergio, the tile guy, was great.
We also love the companies that they subcontracted for counter tops, glass shower door and for floor materials. They are very easy to work with and we love how our 3 bathrooms turned out.

We had a major bathroom remodel that included converting part of an existing closet into a shower, windows, in-floor heating, and plumbing and electrical work. So, a solid two and a half months of ongoing construction noise, mess, and disruption in our home. I work from home, so I was present while much of the work was being done. If you're having that level of work done on your house, you can only hope that the people doing it are easy to "live" with. In that respect, we totally lucked out by having Jonathan in our home day in and day out, quietly working hard, doing excellent work, and being unfailingly polite, respectful, cheerful, patient in the face of our indecisiveness, and just an all-around pleasant and decent human being. He is a total gem of a person, and we hope to have him back for future projects.
Dave was also very easy to work with. I felt he addressed any needs and concerns appropriately and in a timely fashion. He also, like Jonathan, is an all-around good-natured, pleasant, easy person to be around.
And now, thanks to Dave and Jonathan, we have a beautiful, brand-new spa-like bathroom that I know we will enjoy for years to come. Five stars, but would give more if I could. I honestly cannot think of a single thing to complain about. If I won the lottery, I'd have Dave and Jonathan back out to re-do my entire house.

We are doing a major remodeling project in our home, involving flooring, doors, millwork, new windows, painting, and stairs. Dave and Jonathan make the process extremely easy and relaxed. They handle every detail, big and small, and act as the liaison to other companies when issues arise from those companies. I have never had such a tremendous experience with any other contractor. I really, really cannot recommend them enough. Get a bid and find out for yourself how good this company is.

I hired Haider Construction for the trim phase of my new house. Interior window and door casings, baseboards, cabinet install, interior door install, stairwell trim and handrails, sauna paneling plus carpet install. Two carpenters for 4 months. The work was completed with high quality and professionalism, and I found it easy to communicate and coordinate the tasks with the very knowledgeable carpenters.

Haider Construction left additional damage to my home and bailed on an incomplete job. They treated me as a customer with complete neglect and operated in an unprofessional manner. The careless work from their crews left me with more damage than I started with.
I hired Haider Construction to fix a leak underneath my roof deck. They failed to show up several times that I took time off work. Their carpenters damaged the joists of my roof deck and the roof membrane in two places. Their roofer never even tried to apply a proper patch.
Another company was able to easily clean, patch, and fix the original problem on my roof after Haider Construction left me stranded with additional damage. I payed the other company extra to fix the damage that Haider Construction made to my home.
The following are facts:
1) It took 3 months and several no-shows for any work to actually begin. The carpenters canceled twice. The roofers failed to show up at the scheduled time on two occasions. Chris, the project manager, was unable to coordinate a date for several weeks once my job was allegedly on the schedule.
2) The carpentry crew made sloppy cuts and damaged the roof deck joists. They used a sawzall and ripped the wood, leaving 6-12'' long splinters off the end of the joists. They also damaged my roof membrane in two places. I had to pay another company to patch the new damage.
3) The roofing crew never attempted a reasonable patch to the roof. They did not know what type of material the roof was, and tried to apply a TPO patch to a PVC roof. They hacked one together a patch using a piece of spare material that had been sitting on my roof for 9 years. They did not adequately clean the area and were gone within 30 minutes. The patch could be torn right off.
4) The roofer stated that he would return to apply another patch because he did not bring the right materials. He never did.
4) The project manager Chris and owner Ron took a dismissive attitude towards me when I asked when they could return to apply a real patch.
5) Neither the project manager nor the owner ever saw the roof after work began. They have no first-hand data of what actually happened.
6) I raised concerns about the damage that was done. Ron, the owner, took a rude, dismissive attitude immediately and called my position “ridiculous” despite never having seen the results of the work.
7) They backed out of the job, offering no assistance to repair the damage they did or re-assemble what was dismantled.
8) Ron and the roofer insisted that the roof was too dirty to patch. But another company effortlessly cleaned the problem area, patched, and fixed my problem.

Haider Construction and Paul Lehman impressed me from the get go with his estimate on my roof replacement, 1/3 lower than an estimate I had from a reputable competitor whom I had used to replace the roof on my home, just a couple years ago. Also positive and appreciated, the Contract he prepared was clearly written and detailed so I knew exactly what I was getting. and Particularly important given that this new roof was going on my business, a house remodeled as a professional office building and so 4 different businesses in the building having to shut down and reschedule clients during the days the roof was being replaced, he committed to a firm install schedule. And Haider delivered as promised, bringing in extra crew to make up for a day of rain and finishing the project on time; flawless work and clean up and an on-site project manager and crew all super-polite and friendly, even clearly proud of building me a beautiful new roof! I recommend Haider without reservation and in fact, I am in the process of asking Ron Haider to give my wife and me an estimate on a kitchen remodel in our home and my daughter and son-in-law are planning to add a wing to their home and also are excited to get an estimate from Haider Construction.

We hired Haider Construction to enlarge, remodel and add a walk in closet our existing downstairs powder-room. The project required, moving/adding electrical moving/adding plumbing, tile work, and all the finish wood work.
We are very pleased with the outcome of the project. The work was completed on time and on budget. All the employees were very professional, polite and efficient. I particularly like the care they take in protecting other areas of the house so not to scratch or dent walls and floors.
Thank you Ron and Dave for the new and nice looking three quarter bath with walk in closet. We love it!

They put on a new metal roof expertly and quickly. Since then they've completed several smaller projects including a bathroom and literally came in under budget and earlier than the deadline. They also prepared/cleaned up a home I was selling, efficiently and reasonably.

I asked my roofing production manager if we patched the area of the roof that was uncovered would it fix the leak problem for certain. He said that he was not sure that it would without probing the rest of the roofing membrane seams (under the deck). I concluded that we should not proceed unless we could remove the entire deck and re-roof the entire area. We conveyed this to the client and said we were unwilling to go any further unless we were to do the entire roof deck because we were not 100% sure of the potential results. The client elected not to do this.
I paid my men to remove decking (and yes, we had to damage the deck to remove part of it). I paid men to go out and evaluate the roof. Haider Construction did not charge the client anything. The task was not accomplished so we did not charge anything. Due to the uneasiness we all had about the customer and not knowing for certain that we would be successful, we did not want to go any further. I am glad it worked out for him and I might agree with his giving Haider Construction a negative review if we had charged him for our labor - but we did not. Our work was done completely free of charge.
Sometimes a business owner has a responsibility to his business to turn down a customer if there is an unreasonably high level of expectations. That was the case with this customer. During an very busy season, we all took great care to evaluate and try to solve a problem. This is an unfair representation of how we do business at Haider Construction.
