About Us

Founded in 1975 by John S. and Chris Mickman, Mickman Brothers is an industry leading provider of green goods and services via five service groups: Landscape & Landscape Irrigation Design/Construction, a retail Garden Center, Landscape Care services and a Christmas Wreath Fundraising business. We strive to be at the forefront in our respective industries by providing our customers/clients with the finest products available, professionally offered by our dedicated staff members. Over the past 34 years we have been fortunate in recruiting and maintaining some of the best individuals in our industries to work with our clientele to provide them with the level of service they expect. Around these dedicated staff members we have developed our Mission Statement... 'Our mission is to provide our customers with the best products and services in our industries by enabling our employees to contribute to their full potential.'

Mickman Brothers completed tree care and landscape design and installation work in our suburban back yard. We enjoyed working with Anne Marie to create a long-term plan for the yard, and we're pleased with the work: the design, the materials, the execution, and the final results. The crew did a wonderful job, going above and beyond to solve unexpected problems, preserve the yard as they worked, and clean up so well that you wouldn't have known a crew of many people and heavy machines had been there. The designer listened well and created a plan that met our family's needs and budget, and the work was completed quickly once scheduled. We look forward to seeing how our plantings grow and change over the seasons, and we plan to work with them again in the coming years as we finish the big picture plan.

Professional, excellent work! Designer offered creative ideas for project and follow-up when project was completed. Project completed when promised and left property in clean condition. I will be using this company again!

We have used Mickman Brothers for two small projects and one large project. Our large project included redesigning a large garden, a pond with a waterfall, a patio and a deck. Paul Mayhew spent considerable time with us getting our ideas and adding some of his own. We got to know the crew quite well as they were on our premises on and off all summer as we decided on more updates to the back yard. They were friendly, professional, on time every day, and if a problem did arise, were quick to fix it. For a large or a small job, I would recommend Mickman Brothers, without reservation, for your landscaping project. They stand by their word!! Mary Beth Mutchler Shoreview
