Peters Construction performed our kitchen, primary bath and family room renovation in Nov 2021 - Mar 2022. We selected Peters based on strong customer recommendations and timeline. We were not disappointed! Even though it was a smaller job, Peters provided access to their designer to help with layout, colors and materials. The job started promptly, and work areas were kept neat and clean (which was important as we were living in the house during the work). Ron, the owner, communicated progress and issues on a daily basis, keeping us informed of decisions and timeline. The quality of the work was impeccable! I believe Ron and his team's excellent work allows us to garner a higher value when we sold the home a few months later. Most impressively, when we experienced a significant issue days after they finalized their work, Ron and his team dropped everything and raced to our house. While it was clear the issue had nothing to do with their work, they worked well into the night and a few nights after to help find and fix the problem. I would definitely use Peters again!

Excellent experience. Ron & Kevin provided the full experience. Remodeled my two bathrooms. Started with 1 full and two 1/2 bathrooms. Tore it down to the studs, moving walls, and rebuilding. (As context, condo on the top/third floor.) End result was beautiful. There were a few moments, once we got into the project, where (as a group) we realized that a minor change could make a big difference (e.g., shifting the tile pattern to go around the corner, shifting the "toiletries insert" in the shower to add more depth) and the team worked with me along the way to make those refinements. Love my new bathrooms! Including photos: original bathrooms (3) and new bathrooms (2); I'm sure you'll be able to tell which is new.

Ron and his team remodeled a bathroom for us and did a spectacular job. Ours is a sturdy house built in 1908, but with a checkered history of previous efforts to modernize. They figured out how to undo the damage created by a previous remodel, which entailed rerouting pipes, repairing beams, and extracting debris that had been left under the flooring. Then they set about building the design we had selected, which they did to perfection and in good humor. They cleaned up after themselves every day, They were respectful and easy to get along with. Most importantly Ron and his team are expert craftsmen. We look forward to hiring them again because we have confidence that they will do fine work at a reasonable price. We feel lucky to have found them!

I have known Ron for over 10 years. Not only is he an excellent contractor (a jack of all trades), his work is of the highest standard, and he always keeps his word. He completed a kitchen remodel for me that was left unfinished, and it has stood the test of time - I still enjoy and love it. And, Ron has come to my aid in a few emergencies, and always seems to know what to do. I feel very fortunate to know Ron and so appreciate his quality of work and professionalism.

Peters Construction and Project Haven did a FANTASTIC job remodeling our three bathrooms. We wanted a design-build firm for this project to simplify a challenging process and selecting Project Haven for it was the best decision we made. They are a talented, meticulous, friendly group of professionals with high integrity and excellent customer service who strive for perfection. Kevin, the project manager, and Johanna, the inhouse architect and designer, helped us think through the changes we wanted and offered great advice. They encouraged us to pursue the structural change that other contractors had rebuffed. The result was gorgeous, allowing us to nearly double the bathroom space and add the features we wanted. It was wonderful and great fun to work with Johanna. She had lots of terrific design suggestions and was able to translate my rough ideas into beautiful, updated bathrooms. We were very happy with Ron Peters, the contractor. His work is excellent! Ron is one of the most unflappable people I've ever met. Any unexpected discovery -- such as a shower from 1951 that was never waterproofed -- never became cause for alarm but was addressed professionally as, "just part of the job." He and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They took great pride in their craft and it showed. I highly recommend Project Haven and Peters Construction for your next project!

We asked Ron and his team to convert our master shower to a bath / shower combo, keeping as much of the existing tile work along with adding a Glass door / enclosure for it. We loved the work they did. While they were working they also installed a bidet and replaced a couple cracked tiles for us. We were new to the area so it is difficult to find someone you can trust to do it right the first time. But Ron and his guys are pretty much a sure thing and I highly recommend them.

My wife and I hired Ron to build a half wall and work on our bathroom, including installing a vanity, light fixture and other smaller things. We could not have been happy with the thoughtfulness, cleanliness and attention to detail. He gave the work a lot of thought during the quoting process, which really helped us with potential design options. The wall itself needed to be pretty stable, and Ron built it exactly how we needed it! Would definitely hire him for renovation again -- big or small.

Ron and his team transformed my husband’s bathroom. It was a dingy long and narrow space with hidden alarming issues but due to his creativity and fine craftsmanship, it is now the most beautiful room in the house. The job required a complete makeover. I hired Ron because I knew from the past, he is very meticulous and cares about the quality of his work. I have used other contractors before so I know how it bad things can go. He will work with you to your satisfaction even if it means taking longer time and going out of his way. He is accessible and responsive even during the weekends and evenings. He will listen to you and provide his very best expert advise. The job took many weeks due to the Oakland’s waiting time for permit. He made “living under the construction” bearable by keeping the area clean and dust free. His team is the best in what they do. Walls were taped flawlessly, tiles installed impeccably, the finishes and etc.. Yes, I will hire him again.

Peters Construction remodel 2 bathrooms in my home, his attention to detail is of the highest quality, during the remodel he was in constant contact with us and available for any questions or concerns we had, he has such great decorating style which helped so much in making choices of products while staying within budget, I’m so grateful he did our remodels, I highly recommend Peters Construction for any remodel or construction job you may have.

Peters Construction remolded my kitchen and did a great job. Starting with coming out to discuss the job and provide an estimate, Ron was very professional and responsive. He personally performed much of the work and closely supervised his crew to ensure that everything was done properly.
