I've recently reached out to Plaza Home Interiors in order to get a cover for our new Japanese futon. Omar was very responsive through email and payed great attention to details. I was referred to him through one of the store managers at Mood Fabrics. The job was done so quickly. I was impressed. The end product looks fabulous and it also fits like a glove. Omar and his team were great and I hope to work with them again on future projects.

I recently had a sofa reupholstered by Plaza Home Interiors and was extremely pleased with the whole process. They were responsive, pleasant, timely, easy to deal with and did beautiful work. The last time I had my sofa reupholstered it took two months; Plaza took two weeks. I recommend them without reservation.

Plaza did a superb job reupholstering a very large couch and, later, two more couches that have an unusual arrangement of cushions that turn into beds. Both jobs required pickup and delivery to the East End of Long Island. Both jobs were done on schedule and on budget. All three couches look terrific. We are very happy with the work and would use Plaza again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Omar when I walked into his storefront to ask about recovering seats for my kitchen chairs. He did an amazing job in a timely manner and was a delight to work with. When I redecorated my apartment recently, I went to him for window treatments throughout my apartment. From the custom sheers in my bedrooms, to the mesh shade in my bathroom (along with a customized valance) to the HD roman shades in my kitchen, he totally surpassed my expectations and made my apartment look like "home"! I cannot stress how available, informative, positive and encouraging Omar was throughout this whole process. Superb job done on reupholstering our two chairs --- ordered fabric from Italy, had them done ahead of schedule, fairly priced, re-padded chairs without asking, beautifully done. Plaza Home Interiors created drapery for my living and dining rooms. They did a wonderful job. Omar Plaza, the owner, is creative, friendly, organized, and accommodating. I recommend him highly and without reservation. You won't be disappointed!

Before my big move to Europe, I set out to have the main pieces of furniture in my living room re-upholstered. Rather than going back to the high end D&D building on the Upper East Side, where I had originally gotten the furniture from, I went to Mood Fabrics in New York City, and thanks to the very helpful staff I was quickly set with fabrics and their upholsterer, Omar of Plaza Home Interiors. He picked up the fabrics from Mood and the furniture from my house in Westchester, and within just a few weeks delivered the beautifully done pieces. The work was excellent and quite competitive with the original Brunschwig and Fils, and the prices affordable. But here comes the plum part: I had asked Omar to make me a pillow case for the sofa throw pillow, if there was any fabric left. There was none left, but Omar just like that kindly offered to go back to Mood for a bit more fabric, and to make me one anyway. When UPS messed up and Omar told me they had delivered the new pillow case to the wrong address, without being able to retrieve it, Omar simply went ahead and made me another one. It arrived the day of my move and still made it with the rest of my things. All this was just a kind gesture which cost me nothing extra. I was extremely pleased and impressed with not only the first class work, the good prices and customer service, but with that extra way that Omar and his Plaza Home Interiors went, for no reason other than to obviously go that extra mile (or in this case quite a few miles) to make the customer happy. I wish the world was full of Omars.

I have hired Omar and his team for multiple projects from fabricating a small pillow order, to re-upholstering an existing banquette, to re upholstering a desk chair and sofa in leather. His craftmanship is superb, he is timely and responsive and always gets the job done right the first time. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
