About Us

RoJohns was established in 1937 by Cecil RoJohn. The company was called RoJohn Insulation Company and focused on insulating the sidewalls and attics of residential buildings. Today the company offers a full range of remodeling services for both residential and commercial buildings. The service territory is Fort Dodge, IA and the surrounding area for remodeling. Our roofing crews service all of Iowa. We have been in the energy conservation business for over 78 years, and are one of the leaders of green building techniques in our area. Four members of our staff have completed Green Building Training Hosted by the Iowa Center on Sustainable Communities. Mike McCarville has been designated a “Certified Green Professional” by the National Association of Home Builders. RoJohns is a member of the Fort Dodge Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Dodge, and National Home Builders Association.

I hired RoJohn to repair, scrape & paint the gutters, soffit and fascia on a really tall and really old building that needed some attention. They gave a timely bid and worked us in to their schedule once we gave the 'go ahead' to complete the project. They were attentive, did a wonderful job and completed it quickly. We are very happy with the finished product.

We had a great experience working with RoJohn in the spring of 2016! We had them finish our entire basement and were impressed with the details of the project. If we had questions, they were very quick at answering those questions and they were great to adjust their schedules if we had changes in the project along the way. We LOVE the finished product and are enjoying our basement.
