Jim Stapert and his business partner did three full days of work for us at our house, and I recommend him highly. He is extremely personable and tuned in to the customer, and he seems to be a good man who takes pride in doing a job well. He has been doing carpentry jobs with his dad since he was very young and has 17 years of experience doing carpentry full time. As part of the work process, he and I met with a representative from the door vendor we were going to use. Jim went above and beyond at that meeting, acting as a true advocate for me with the vendor to make sure I had everything I could need to make a comfortable, informed decision. He thought of things that I would not have considered and that the door vendor did not bring to my attention. I was very grateful for his thoughtful attention to detail. There were other times I was especially impressed with Jim as well. After the initial estimate, he found that structural elements of my house were exposed to the rain and were at risk of rotting. On his own time, he came out and did a quick, temporary fix for me so that I wouldn't have to worry about it until he could come and fix everything properly at our appointed time. During the course of the work, Jim found that the rot was more extensive than he was able to see at the time of the initial inspection (before the siding on our house was pulled back). He did not charge us extra, although it was about $300-400 worth of extra work for him. The final result is beautiful, better than I had thought it could be. I am very pleased. Throughout, Jim and his business partner were professional, upbeat, respectful, and neat. They went about their work confidently and cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished. I recommend them without reservation.

Mr. Stapert came to my house and walked with me as I showed him what all I wanted done. He later gave me an estimate of the costs, and we set up a date that worked with my schedule. On the day of the repairs, he was actually present for the majority of the repairs. I was shocked! So many companies send a professional face to draw you in with the estimate then a not so professional crew shows up to do the work. His entire team was professional, wore booties over their shoes when entering my home, and used drop cloths in every area they were working. I was worried about the mess it would create in my home, but they immediately cleaned up after. If it weren't for the amazing repairs, I would not have known anyone had ever been in my home doing a bunch of construction. He blew me away when he took the time to explain some simple tips that I could do to make my garage door last longer. I will recommend this company to all of my friends and family and plan to use them again in the future.

Jim and his team did an excellent job repairing the damage to both of my bathrooms in my condo. He professionally informed me of the cost and the source of the damage. The previous contractor did not install the Whirlpool tub in the master bathroom (2nd floor) correctly which caused water to drain into the floor. The ceiling eventually caved in on the first floor. He repaired the tub and fixed the ceiling while taking into consideration water damage and mold caused by the previous contractors poor workmanship. Jim is trustworthy, fair, dependable, professional and prompt! I was ecstatic that he was able to quote and repair the damage so quickly. He not only repaired the damage that was caused fixed the work of another contractor, but was reasonably priced. I highly recommend his services to anyone!
