I had Tom do my backyard. We had an above ground pool installed and the area around the pool and the yard was a complete mess. Mounds of dirt and some debris. I got a recommendation about Tom and made an appointment to meet with him. First off he is the nicest person. He converted my yuckie looking yard into the wonderful oasis that I was looking for. His workers were perfect and did a beautiful job installing the sod. The stone around our pool is beautiful. He told me that the job would be done in 2 days and it was. Tom O'Shea Landscaping installed two custom stone patios, including a waterfall and plantings. We expressed a desire for diverse foliage in regards to leaf style, color variance, width, and height. All things were accomplished in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.

Tom and his crew are professional, knowledgeable and an extremely creative team! We are working in "phases" around our yard beginning with leveling some of our property and laying sod on a large area of our upper lawn. We then moved to stonewall work, new patio and YES a beautifully installed "natural" waterfall. Simply AMAZING work. It is complete art! I say "we" because both Tom and Tamara believe in making the customer top priority in any work they do. They take time to hear what our wishes are and implement them in a most personal and professional manner. Their suggestions compliment what they hear from their customers wishes. When Tom suggested a waterfall, I jumped at the chance. My husband, not so much. It became Tom's mission to prove to him that in the end, my husband would be the one loving it the most. Tom won! It's his go to spot every evening when he walks in from work! This company, Tom O'Shea Landscaping, reconstructed, revitalized, and in effect reinvented our backyard. By their exceptional technical and aesthetic skills, care, and attentiveness, our entire yard was transformed from a drab, chaotic near-desert into a landscape of vibrancy, color, privacy, and serenity. Their ideas were wonderfully creative, as well as practical; their pricing was more than reasonable; and their final product was simply beautiful! My wife and I explained to them what we were looking for in a general way and this company devised a custom-made, individualized, comprehensive plan that exceeded all our hopes. And in implementing that plan, they functioned like doctors and artisans in addition to being skilled technical craftsmen. The main ingredient of the transformation they brought about was the selection, planting, and patient nurturing of a wall of 12 sturdy and perfectly-sized Leyland Pine trees lining the border of our property. And when a devastating winter (2013/2014) inhibited the growth of one of them, they replaced it with a new (and individually, carefully selected) tree at no extra cost. I am not exaggerating in saying that in my 60 years of life I have seldom seen such tender, loving care applied to a technical job. These folks took the time and made a special effort not only to get it right, but to make it outstanding. It wasn't just a job for them, but something like artists creating something wonderful and excellent! A few years ago we hired Tom and Tamara to build a stone patio and install sod in our back and front yard. They did a beautiful job. A few years later, we hired them to remove a tree stump and move some earth around to help level part of our back yard. Again, they did a great job. The men who work for them are friendly and very hard workers. The best part about working with Tom and Tamara is what lovely people they are. They are such kind, decent, respectful people. I highly recommend them for the work they do, and the pleasure they are to work with. They always have great ideas, are creative and open to hearing our ideas too. I wish I could give them a blank check and say "make my yard beautiful" and I know they would! They are trustworthy and produce excellent results.

Tom and Tamara O'Shea helped us with multiple projects over the past 2 years and have truly exceeded expectations. They both possess extensive knowledge in landscape design and they delivered on the personal vision we requested. After a successful front yard bedding removal and full rebuild, Tom and his team built retaining walls along our fence line, leveled the property and placed sod to match our existing lawn. Tom personally stopped by every night while we were away to water the property to ensure the new plantings thrived. Finally, Tom saw that some of Leyland Cypress trees suffered during our harsh winter (2013/2014). He came back and replaced 9 trees at no additional cost. The O'Shea's stand behind their work, clean up after each day of work and complete projects on time and on budget. We will continue to work with Tom and Tamara in the coming years.
