Jessica, I apologize. Our number one goal is to make sure you're 100% happy with the cabinets. We did sand in-between coats on the shell, however we were dealing with heavy grease as mentioned to your husband, that made it a real challenge from the start. We generally wipe all the doors down after we install them, I'm not sure what that could be, or how we missed it. We have tried to call and sent numerous texts without a response. I have no problem sanding the shell down and applying a spray finish. I'm not concerned about the outstanding balance, however I am concerned about the overall outcome and the quality of our work, I know we can make this right for you. All you would have to do is call us and if our work didn't meet your standards or if we missed something we would fix it. After all the last time we spoke was me being at your home touching up and you thanking me for that. The reason we showed up in my "personal vehicle" is because our company van was in the shop being repaired. Why you feel the need to post a negative review two months after the fact is beyond me. Virginia I am sorry that you feel your experience with our company was sub par. However, based on your review it is clear you did not do any research about our company before you decided to hire us. On our website, Facebook page etc etc. it is clearly stated that we are a "family owned and operated business." Matt grew up working this trade with his father, and has done the same with his children, having them work and learn this trade when and were we can. I apologize that you were so disappointed and were in anticipation of a crew of "MEN " to preform the work. If you are unaware...women are employed in all trades. In fact, if you would have done more research on our company you would have discovered that we are actually a "woman owned" business in the state of Florida. Furthermore "his wife" who has no clue, as you stated, is actually the licensed painting contractor who has spent hours on end reading and testing for this, and has been in the painting industry for 15+ years. We find your review demeaning to women. Furthermore, the quote you were given did not include 4 hours of patching holes in all of your walls (which you were not charged for). Yet per a phone conversation you specifically stated that "you could not find a handyman in time to patch the holes and you hoped that Matt would charge extra for that." Your response of "you get what you paid for" is clearly incorrect as you did not pay for ANY of the drywall patching that was preformed. Furthermore your calls about the touch up you had were not ignored, we did answer your calls and told you it would be a few days before we could get there to touch up. Unfortunately you were insistent on saying "paint cannot be touched up after a few a days" which is untrue. You specifically asked Marie "the wife" why she could not come that day to touch up, when she explained she had an appointment with our daughter for an ultrasound, you questioned "why we were in business if we could not accommodate our customers". Why is it that you were so appalled at having women on the job, yet expected that same woman to drop what she was doing to correct the issues you had? . Also if your memory serves you correctly there was numerous amounts of paint on your floors, prior to us painting in which you stated you painted this home yourself four years ago. Our "teenage daughter" spent over an hour scrubbing up. And to be clear we have three teenage daughters ranging from 19-14 and they all paint with me from time to time, and actually do better than some of the grown men we've hired over the years! Virginia, we actually had to take pictures and pointed out to you the old dark brown paint on the floor... if you remember correctly this is why we had to caulk against the baseboard and floor because the old paint was all over the tile and grout. Your quote was for 1 color throughout, you chose 3... we spent an extra 4 hours of patching holes that you said you would pay extra for... you did not... we painted doors that were not in the original quote, because they looked horrible against the newly painted baseboards and trim, again you specifically said you were not planning on painting them and you were not charged for this. Frankly, your statement of "you get what you pay for" is null and void when you received work that you did not pay for. We wish you the best, and hope for your understanding. We apologize our work wasn't completed to your satisfactory.
