At Yodel, we set out to build furniture inspired by the clean lines and functionality of Mid-Century Modern style and European design. We are a small dedicated team of aspiring craftsmen passionate about creating a timeless product, by using responsibly sourced hardwoods and local craftsmanship. Embarking upon the ever unfolding journey of discovery and creativity, a young man imagined a place where he and other young artisans could flourish, hone and share their crafts within their own community... and in the world beyond. With a fondness for wood and an appreciation for the clean lines, timeless designs and functionality of an era past, he began to build furniture; furniture for this generation, charged by the spirit which ignited the Mid-Century Modern era. The idea was set in motion and before long, a handful of local artisans - passionate craftsmen with a true sense of adventure - joined together and Enterprising Young Men was formed. From our Mid-Century Modern furniture and goods, to our eclectic photography and art, we genuinely appreciate the beauty, simplicity and functionality of each well-crafted design. We wholeheartedly embrace the unique interpretations of our artisans and craftsmen, with every nuance of their creativity! It is this unwavering spirit that propels us forward to explore more possibilities and truly inspires our journey here. Ultimately, we hope our designs convey a reflection of the past and a vision for the future.
