Asian Manufactured Wood 4-Drawer Desks

Inspired by the Queen Anne secretary cabinets popular in the 18th century, this grand secretaire is elaborately handcrafted. It is painted with ancient Chinese idyllic scenery in a gold highlighted Chinoiserie motif. Open the two doors to reveal 25 small drawers, doors, and compartments all in vibrant Chinese red finish with hand painted gold floral designs(total top interior space measures 35"W x 11"D x 35.5"H). The middle section features a drop-leaf desk (leaf measures 39"W x 18"D) which encloses a fitted writing interior with 12 small drawers, doors and compartments also in red with floral designs (total middle compartment dimensions: 35"W x 21.5"D x 15.5"H). There are also an additional four drawers on the bottom providing even more storage(two short drawers: 16"W x 14"D x 2.5"H; two long drawers: 34"W x 14"D x 3.5"H). Features two pull-out shelves between top doors and middle drop-leaf section. The secretary rests on a molded straight bracket base. Solid brass hardware to match the opulence of the entire piece.
