The reclaimed barnwood used in this rustic, 60-inch wide kitchen island comes from tobacco barns built in the 1800s. Available in a laminate top or artisan top, it has two drawers, and at the bottom, two doors on each side that open to two slide-out shelves in each for easy access to the contents. We use full-extension, ball bearing glides rated at stout 100 pounds in the soft-close drawers, which employ dovetail joints proven for centuries to be a durable technique. The door hinges are concealed Euro-style to give the piece its clean profile. The oil-rubbed bronze pulls blend quietly into this stunning piece. The standard finish draws out the natural colors in the wood and seals and protects.
