The Bowery collection is unique. The metal shades were styled after the Brodie or M1917 steel helmets employed in WWI. After the war, the excess helmets were transitioned for use as lamp shades. We've stayed loyal to the era with hinged, early-electric socket holders; cloth covered wiring, and our historically authentic, burnished bronze finish. The underside of each shade is finished in white to reflect the light as was done at the turn of the century.
