Elizabeth (Rodriguez) Caldwell is a Surface Designer with a passion for doodling and hand lettering. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from William Paterson University where she was chosen to represent her Alma Mater at Nottingham Trent University in the UK for one year as a design student. This is where her love of mixed media and hand drawn typography was born and flourished. Elizabeth landed a job at a stationery company shortly after graduating where she learned all about repeats and product design and knew she had found her calling. With over 14 years spent in the stationery industry, her life is dedicated to creating beautiful art for products that inspire and bring joy to others.
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
