J.D. Mcfarlan 'Christ Church' Canvas Artby Trademark Fine Art
I began my career as a photographer for my high school newspaper and went on to do portraits, weddings, and commercial photography. What eventually inspired me the most was scenic and nature. I have made photographs from Alaska to Europe to Africa. I have given a number of my shots a painted effect and also enjoy shooting scenes in infrared. I am graduate of The New York Institute of Photography and a member of the Georgia Professional Photographers Association. I own Berkshire Photography and am a member of the Tucker Arts Guild.
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

Vintage Apple Collection 'Cointreau' Canvas Art, 24x18by Trademark Fine Art(1)
These posters got their start in the late 1800s when brands hired artists and illustrators to create their ads and announcements for various products such as chocolates, alcohol, soap, or cigarettes. This was the time when the development of mass printing emerged and this new technology allowed for low-cost reproductions with vibrant colors. These works on posters became more affordable than original art and grew in popularity. This new industry attracted many aspiring artists looking to generate revenue from their work. The commercial success of these posters began the trend of the vintage poster, which has continued into the 21st century.

Keisuke Ikeda 'Along A Road' Canvas Art, 24 x 18by Trademark Fine Art
1x is not your average photo site. All photos on 1x are selected by a team of professional gallery curators, just like in a real photo gallery. Our curators have experience from well-known institutions such as Sothebys and Tate Modern Art. We believe that everyone has an inner photographer, just waiting to be discovered. Getting published on 1x is a great achievement; many photographers whose works now hang in art galleries were once discovered on 1x. Its no coincidence that art directors, book editors, and magazines all over the world use photos from 1x photographers.

"Angel " by Italian School, Canvas Artby Trademark Fine Art(1)
Italian painting began to develop beyond the influence of Byzantium in the 13th century, maintaining its lead throughout the Italkian Renaissance and reaching a particular peak in the High Renaissance of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael, despite great political turbulence. Italy retained its artistic dominance into the 17th century with Mannerism and Baroque, and cultural tourism became a major prop to an otherwise faltering economy. In the 18th century Neoclassicism originated in Rome, but this was the last such Italian-born style that spread to Western art. However, Italy maintained a presence in the international art scene from the mid-19th century onwards, with movements such as the Macchiaioli, Futurism, Metaphysical, Novecento Italiano, Spatialism, Arte Povera, Transavantgarde.

Mike Jones Photo 'Westfield Church Infrared' Canvas Art, 24x18by Trademark Fine Art(1)
Mike's love of photography started at age 10 when his father taught him how to use his old Pentax SLR camera. By the time he graduated high school, he had also graduated from his 35mm Pentax, to an old 4x5 Graflex camera. From the beginning, landscapes were his true passion. During Summer vacations in Maine, Mike would choose to climb around the rocky shore with a camera and tripod instead of shopping with his family in downtown Bar Harbor. He soon landed a job shooting photos for a local newspaper where he continued to work while studying photography in college.

Jean Plout 'Crowning Glory 3' Canvas Artby Trademark Fine Art
I have lived and worked in Vermont since 1999. Through many wonderful mentors I have learned what it truly means to be a Vermonter. I now work as a freelance graphic designer, donating many of these skills to local community, non-profits groups. I help organize fundraising events, support two CSA programs in our valley, and paint the town (literally) at Christmas time to promote the local shop owners and beautify the _Old Business District_ of Manchester, Vermont. I closely align myself with a community arts organization in N. Bennington and have taught children and adults, workshops and afterschool classes through their in-house and outreach programs. At home, my husband and I are raising our two children, 26 chickens, 11 ducks and work to double our garden every spring, (so far, so good).

Cheryl Bartley 'Faith Love Hope Peace' Canvas Art, 24"x18"by Trademark Fine Art
American Folk Art Painter, Cheryl Bartley_s artistic talent was apparent from an early age when she produced her first works of art as a means of communication. Raised by a French speaking family, she relied on a paintbrush and a box of paint to express herself to her English speaking friends. Her early love of expressing herself with her art resulted in working for over 25 years as a graphic artist in the manufacture of wallpaper and textiles. During these years, Cheryl developed the skills necessary to understand the technical aspects in the creation of wallpaper and textile design, color theory, computer design, market trends, and the proper care and utilization of quality artist materials.
