Trexler Field Property Since the closing date 12/1/2020, there has been ongoing communication regarding the extreme temperatures of my MB closet and most recently Bedroom #2. I have video journals and pictures showing a difference of 20 degrees on some days between the bedroom and the closet. The HVAC was investigated and is running correctly. The builder provided additional insulation, and a return. Despite these efforts there has been no change in the extreme temperatures. The builder states there is nothing more than can do. How is this possible? Clearly there is a loss of air happening somewhere. There is about a 2inch gap between the floor and the wall with no insulation. I do believe this is a structural problem. The temperature readings have shown a loss of air around these sights. It's there job to figure out and fix the issue.

Can this builder be much worse when building are structurally sound homes? House is less than 5 years old. Roofing has already had shingles pull away from the house creating large gaps for water to leak into the house causing water damage. Subflooring, carpeting and wood which was not properly secured or leveled creating numerous issues that we have had to fix. Driveways which were built without proper drainage underneath leading to settling issues and cracks in the driveway in the first year and was only patched. Now it’s having the same issue. But mind you. They only fix it once in their warranty. What they originally did was not even a fix! And their warranty. Absolute garbage. Covers most things only in the first year. And if it is a day beyond that from your settlement date. They will do nothing about it. This is an ongoing issue in our area with several of our residents having the same issues and Kay not being accountable for anything. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from these crooks. And if you do. Make sure you have a good lawyer for when things go to heck. Because you will be on the hook for covering all of their structural mistakes.

They neglected installing bathroom fan vents as per International Residential Code in my newly built home and my township is aware of it. This negligence was discovered an year after we moved when I noticed water leaks in my bedroom and attic full of ice sheets waiting to melt and leak more and it did. Had Kay Builders not been so negligent and followed the codes, it could have saved the trouble my family went through including but not limited to such as damaged bed, health issues in the family due to developed mold and work loss. They are so unreliable and unethical that they did not offer me an apology for such big screw up and compensation for the troubles their negligence had caused. Instead they keep lying that they gave lot of free unwarranted items. Will a builder installing garbage quality mulch in the walkway in my development give me any item for free? I highly doubt it. They are so cheap that they did not painted the white lines between parking spots in a common area. 2. I paid extra to get hardwood floors and even after 19 months there are still issues with them. It's a shame that such a company is allowed to operate in US that is not capable of fixing an item nor refunding the customer money. Well, IT DOESN'T and they have not done anything about it. Be ethical and refund my money so I can get fixed properly myself. On their invitation, I gave a similar truthful review on Birdeye.com and guess what? They did not publish it. Someone in this company is hiding truth from others - shame on them. Would I want to be a customer of such unethical company or recommend them? Never ever and same advice to everyone. If I were given an option, I would give them only NEGATIVE STAR RANKING.
