About Us

I work collaboratively with clients on remodels, additions, and new homes. I focus on smaller residential work. I enjoy working with clients to solve the puzzle of a redesign, imagine a new way of living in an existing or new house, and creating a design that is beautiful and feasible. Most of the homes I work on are under 2000 SF and some are closer to 1000 SF.

Gretchen designer our home expansion and kitchen remodel. We enjoyed working with her and are thrilled with the end results. Gretchen listens, has lots of good ideas, and she is very practical. The new space blends beautifully with out 1920's era house while incorporating the airiness and clean lines of modern design. She also facilitated the permitting process and remained available as the construction process unfolded. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat.

Georgene Marshman

Gretchen designed a new bedroom addition & covered front porch for our 1935 bungalow. It all fits in so well, most folks don't realize the room was added. She incorporated all of our requests creatively - including a sunrise window - even tho' the addition faces northwest - a feat that seemed impossible.
