We had our laundry room updated. We absolutely love the end product. AKD was extremely helpful with the design and made suggestions that really improved the look. They were friendly, great communication and always followed up with any questions or concerns we had. The quality of the cabinets, trim, lighting, paint was outstanding. I would highly recommend AKD to anyone.

Trisha is a true professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communicator, exceptional at follow-up communication, consistently met deadlines, coordinated deliveries and collaborated with our installer during the entire process. Our kitchen renovation went seamlessly and I am so pleased with the finished results! Additionally, the AKD staff (Judy, Dave, etc.) were always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about our project, which indicates to me the AKD works as a team! I would definitely recommend Authentic Kitchen & Design!

If they were to hand out Oscars for home remodeling, Authentic Kitchen and Design would win year after year. From incredible design to the finishing touches, every last detail was meticulously performed by Trisha, Dave, and their incredible staff and contractors. A complete remodel of our master bathroom turned “Blah” into “Bling”! We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom, or more excited to sing the praises of this company. Don’t even think of going somewhere else. Just do the right thing and call Authentic Kitchen and Design.

We worked with Judy Ratcliffe at AKDteam in Milford MI. She went above and beyond locating marble replacement knobs for our Wood Mode cabinets. I believe the entire project took a few months and Judy was a complete and tireless professional. I can only imagine what it would be like to work with her on a major project! We look forward to contacting her when we remodel our kitchen. We enjoyed working with her so much that when our knobs came in, we picked them up in person, just so we could have the pleasure of meeting her face to face! Thank you Judy, you were a pleasure and a joy to work with!!!

I contacted Authentic Kitchen and Design for a replacement kitchen cabinet door. We purchased our home about a year ago, built in 1995. Our original kitchen needed new appliances and the company that we had gone with made them work, but the cabinets truly needed custom work for the best fit. David came out to our home, measured and told us what we would need in order to make everything look the way that it should. Everything was custom done because the cabinet faces from 1995 couldn’t be ordered. They did an aging process for the color and it looks absolutely perfect. I truly could not be happier. When I do my full kitchen renovation, this is where I’m going. Everything was easy, everyone communicated with me throughout the process and all of my questions were answered. I have no reservations in recommending this company.
