We found our experience with Creative Millwork & Design very disappointing. The owner was unprofessional and didn't deliver what we wanted in a kitchen. He didn't appear to listen and rarely took notes in meetings then would turn around and do exactly what we said we didn't want. He cut corners and made arbitrary decisions without consulting us, then bullied us into accepting them. Any concerns we expressed were met with a battle ram of excuses. During one of these discussions, we were told that, "we were fortunate that we had chosen him to do our kitchen." Were we? We didn't think so when he made our walnut island with white PVC plastic frames that you could see between all the doors and drawers even when they were closed. His solution for this, one we did not accept, was to send his employee out with a permanent marker to colour all the white strips. Eventually these strips were painted with something that is already wearing off. We would not recommend this company, as a matter of fact, we have come away from the experience with the feeling of being taken advantage of. He was very quick to take our money, but didn't itemize costs to allow us to make decisions on where it would be best spent. We were told we would have sign off on everything but never got that opportunity. We didn't get to study final diagrams until after we asked several times for them - by this time he has already well into the building the cabinets without any written sign off. The man has no concept of professionalism, project management or customer service. We still have doors than don't close properly, a 10 ft crack in our ceiling, and several other things that we are not happy with.
