Sherwood Wood

Having commissioned Sherwood Wood to build a traditional alcove unit back in 2017, we contacted Ian again to design, build and install a fitted wardrobe unit in our main bedroom. Ian worked with the space available (following building work we wanted to both make use of, and somewhat disguise a difficult space under the stair bulkhead). Ian listened to our thoughts and needs, made suggestions and shared pictures and drawings in the design stages, and later sought input on wood finish and colours. We now have a beautiful, practical and unique piece of furniture that is already much admired!

First class work from Sherwood Wood who listened carefully to what we wanted made suggestions and recommendations and proved to be flexible to meet our brief. I heartily recommend them.

Ian at Sherwood Wood has now made two bespoke bookcases / cabinets for me. He was very helpful in advising on design and construction and the final products have been excellent. I'm really pleased with the results. They were delivered and fitted without any fuss. Thanks for the great work!

Ian made an excellent job of refitting our bedroom with wardrobes cupboards and drawer units. We chose Sherwood Wood partly because he was recommended and we had seen examples of his work. However, the main factor was that unlike many others he was happy to follow our brief so that we ended with exactly what we wanted.
