I had hired Chris to do our pool project but due to water management issues we were unable to proceed with the project. I had given him a deposit and to this day I have not received all my deposit back as he just does not have it. So he took my deposit and spent it but cannot pay it back which is of course stealing. Do not recommend-

If you are looking to get totally screwed; hire Chris Lewis of Signature Quality Pools. I feel it is a moral obligation to warn innocent consumers about this horrible pool contractor. My husband and I purchased a beautiful new home in March 2018. We knew we wanted a high-end, inground pool with all the bells and whistles. We had Chris Lewis come out before we even settled on the house to start planning a project. The project started in May of 2018 with the excavation of a huge hole (that had to be re-dug three times due to lack of management and communication with his team). The concrete was poured to form a pool shell in our backyard. At this point, per the contract written by Chris Lewis, our pool should have been near completion (July 2018); however completion was no where in sight. His crew wrapped up in October 2018 and left my backyard a complete disaster. My backyard was totally unusable, not to mention a complete danger zone. The property was left with a large unguarded/unfenced hole. There were large pointy metal rebarb pieces sticking out from the ground Debris, mud, and, trash was left behind from employees. Sharp objects strewn throughout the mud and grass. He also left a huge excavator along with other equipment on my property for the entire winter season. The crew promised to start back up in March; however, no one showed up. We made multiple phone calls and texts to Chris requesting the team get started. They finally decided to show up months after requesting them because we had a lawyer write a letter of intent to start legal proceedings if the project wasn’t complete. They came and went as they pleased. Some weeks they were not even on site at all. Sometimes the employees even showed up intoxicated. We begged Chris multiple times to just finish the project; however, he kept giving us excuses and empty promises. The whole process of events over the next few months was a complete circus. Chris Lewis only showed up about 4 times to our year- long project. The crew had no idea what they were supposed to be doing because management was never in communication. After months of stress and irritation our pool finally was filled with water in July. However, to date, Chris has still not finalized our job, and has no intent to do so. We had to call the township ourselves to close out permits. Lights are not hooked up, the heater is not hooked up, all the equipment is not hooked up. We are still owed equipment such as a pool vacuum. We also had to have the plaster refinished as it was done incorrectly the first time and was discolored. We are now left with a partially completed pool that we paid over a quarter of a million dollars for. This contractor is a disgrace to all hard working contractors. He is a compulsive liar with no moral compass. Do not ever hire this guy!!!!

I hired Chris Lewis SQP to build a $274,000 dollar pool in Bucks County PA. Chris required deposits up front to mobilize his crew. Unfortunately SQP has minimal staff and hires on employees that have NO experience in pool building and Chris was never around to give them direction. Additionally Chris pushes a product being Cliffrock that he has no experience installing and his guys have no certification to install. Chris has been paid nearly 95% of the pool and has now disappeared and will not answer any calls. It’s very unfortunate that I trusted Chris and SQP to build my pool and now I had to hire on a lawyer to recoup my money that I paid him for materials that have never came to My site.

For years my wife and I wanted a pool despite having a small sloping yard. We had 2 companies come out only to give us high estimates and say it isn’t likely to do. From the moment he came to look at our yard, not only did he fill us with a confidence he’d get us a pool, he was going to build an awesome pool. Chris was a pleasure to deal with. Always readily available to answer questions, discuss options and guide you through the process. He is very meticulous with his work and does things in the best interest of the project. We love our pool and highly recommend SQP! They do beautiful work. We receive compliments on it all the time and will enjoy our outdoor paradise for many years to come.

They were also able to work with me and assist with coordination of multiple projects (Fencing, Garage, Landscaping,etc) I had going on. If you are looking to build a custom pool, Chris from Signature Quality is your man. His enthusiasm for pool building combined with his drive for perfection and overall knowledge of the industry is more than you could ask for in a pool builder. Probably the best part of working with Chris has been his accessibility throughout the project. Building a pool can be completely overwhelming for a home owner but at no point did I feel like I was burdening Chris with my endless questions, requests, text messages, emails, audibles, etc. Over the last few months I have had a variety of landscapers, electricians, delivery guys, etc. in my backyard and everyone one of them has made a point to tell me how impressive the pool is. Specifically my landscaper, who said he has seen every type of pool there is and mine is as nice as anything he's seen. I can't say I am itching to ever build a pool again, but if I did I would hire Chris in a heartbeat. No questions asked.

Chris was the salesman who we bought our Anthony Sylvan pool from. He then opened his own company and has been opening, closing and servicing our pool and equipment. We wouldn't hire anyone else. Always professional yet personable, he is a joy to have around. Trust him completely.

We just completed our first summer with our brand new beautiful pool. I may never go on vacation during the summer again. I have everything I need in my own backyard. We started the project last December and were finished right on time - before Memorial Day. We loved working with Chris. Chris has the four P's - professionalism, perfectionism, personality and patience. Each step of the way, we knew what to expect. He went to great lengths to explain exactly what was happening and why. Whenever we have questions, we'll shoot off a quick text message. He always responds quickly. We really couldn't be happier with our results!
