About Us

Sunshine Pools is family owned and operated by the LaRoche family in North Jay, Maine. Leon LaRoche and his wife, Lucy, opened the business in 1973. Their son, Jeff, is now carrying on their tradition of excellence and quality workmanship. Jeff's wife, Kim, provides friendly customer service in the retail store which carries all the essential supplies and accessories. Other family members team-up with Jeff to provide installation and service throughout Maine and parts of New Hampshire.

We had an excellent experience with Sunshine Pools. They went above and beyond the call of duty when installing our pool in 2009. It was a very rainy spring that year and they even put a tarp over the back yard to continue the installation process. We have been thoroughly enjoying our pool since then.
