We have used DBC for multiple home renovations and, as usual, they did another amazing job on our deck renovation. They transformed our aging wood deck into a beautiful space using Timber tech composite decking (no maintenance!) and added a roof with 2 ceiling fans. The DBC crew are always professional, friendly and do a great job. We LOVE sitting out and relaxing on our new deck. Thanks, DBC!

Thank you DBC Remodleing for the great work completed at home. When we sustained hail damage we tried very hard to hire a contractor. We had one than one contractor show up but never heard from them again. After the third contractor stopped calling us we decided to reach out to DBC because we know Steve Shallenberger and we heard he was now working for them. Steve estimated the damages, we signed the contract and I now have a beautiful home again. Their crew and staff is very professional. They worked on our roof until the work was done-one night we got home at 8:00pm and they were still working to complete the job! The siding crew was also great-friendly and willing to answer questions. Thank to everyone at DBC for a job well done!! We will recommend your company in a heartbeat. I cannot thank DBC enough for the amazing work they've done in our home the past few months. We hired them to put a new tile shower in our master bathroom and finish our basement including a bedroom, living/play room, and a full bathroom. The high quality work and friendly people really made the job run smoothly. We are absolutely thrilled with the work that was done. I would not hesitate to hire them again for another project.

We have always heard good things about Doug and his company DBC Remodeling & Construction. We decided to undertake a major (to us) update/renovation of our entire first floor flooring, including removing a dated looking "elevated" living room area. We were excited to review and discuss the project with Doug as he took the time to hear our vision, take pictures and measurements. We felt the estimate was very fair and immediately hired them for the job. The entire process went very smooth and thorough. DBC has a broad selection of talent and we felt that each friendly face that showed up truly contributed to the project. DBC made sure to address every concern and made sure that we were satisfied with every phase. The project turned out great and we love our new look space! We realize that our project scope is fairly minor compared to some, but we certainly felt that our project was just as important to DBC as a large renovation, Highly recommend them for all your needs! We want to express our gratitude at the absolutely wonderful experience we had with DBC Remodeling and Construction! We used them for our home remodel/rehab project and could not possibly be any happier with the results. Our project included drywall finishing and painting, kitchen and bathroom installation, intricate woodworking, custom tile, and wood flooring. We had already poured a lot of hard work into our project and were nervous about hiring just anyone to finish it. If you are planning a remodel or construction project here are some things to consider: Planning: DBC did a wonderful job putting together a plan and timeline for our project. They did a very thorough assessment of the project and then sat down with us to confirm all the details. Communication/Professionalism: During a construction project, it’s easy for important details to get lost in communication - however DBC specifically strives to go above and beyond in this area. Every detail was made clear, questions, were answered quickly, and above all the staff was very professional and friendly. Quality vendors: DBC has wonderful connections with many high quality specialists and vendors for any specific project needs. They even provided a color expert to come out and help us choose the best paint colors for each room. Quality of Work: Their attention to detail, perfectionism and skill level were all incredible! We had several very tough projects in our rehab project and all of them ended up looking even better than expected. They are definitely on the cutting edge of quality! The extra mile: During the project, a small scratch on a kitchen cabinet door appeared. It was nobody’s fault per say, and wasn’t even that noticeable. DBC reached out and offered to replace the entire door at no cost to us stating that they felt since the item was new it should look new. This is only one example of the many ways they strive to go above and beyond. Follow up: Even after the project was complete, they followed up to ensure that everything was satisfactory.

I highly recommend DBC! They were knowledgeable, professional, reliable, and ethical. They communicated well, returning calls promptly and answering questions thoroughly. They completed a first floor remodel for us including full kitchen, bathroom, livingroom. They changed the trim throughout the entire first floor, replaced the glass in our front door, and changed the hardware (door knobs, hinges, stoppers) throughout the entire house from brass to nickel. Right before construction on the remodel was scheduled to commence, we had a house fire on our second floor. DBC was incredibly compassionate, helped advocate for us with the insurance company, and completed all needed repairs to the second floor. They replaced all the carpeting upstairs and painted the entire second floor. We also added a remodel to our second floor bathroom which turned out beautiful. We are so happy with all the work DBC has done and will definitely work with them again in the future.

We hired DBC Remodeling and Construction to take the roof off our existing one story house and put the exterior of a second story over two thirds of the house. It took 5 guys 6 weeks to complete the project which was the approximate time period they gave. We were looking for a company that would work hard, do an excellent job, and yet be good role models for our children who would be watching all the construction. We were extremely pleased with the crew that Doug sent. They exceeded all our expectations. They worked hard (very hard) all day and every day. They were great role models for our sons in so many ways. Doug's crew knew what they were doing and worked well together. The budget and plan for construction was clearly defined from the beginning and nothing changed over the course of the project. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I highly recommend DBC. DBC rebuilt our deck and repaired and re-insulated our attic. Excellent work, very through and meticulous.I will call them for future projects.

DBC is very professional, easy to work with, and their work is of the highest quality. I had 5 new entry doors and 13 widows replaced with ProVia doors, and Marvin windows. I had original bird's eye maple moldings which they painstakingly removed and reinstalled where possible. Where new casing was needed Doug milled new malpe casing to the existing profile and then matched and prefinished it in his shop. Excellent all the way around, and well worth the price.
