Andy did a total gut renovation of the second floor of our 120 year old wood frame house. Despite some absurd surprises the house had in store for us, Andy handled it all professionally and it turned out beautifully, on time, and very nearly on budget. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Andy and his team of NY Home Improvement Services did “Amazing” work on my rundown three story 4 bedroom brickface townhouse, the house hadn’t been lived in for seven years and needed a complete facelift. I contracted Andy to renovate and remodel specific rooms (bathrooms/kitchen), as well as, create a open floor plan between the kitchen and LR, input new flooring throughout the house and other needed upgrades for the house. I have high standards and its hard for people to meet my expectations, but the quality of work that Andy and his team provided far exceeded my expectations. The amount of work and attention to detail that was put into this renovation, truly showed that they care about their craft and workmanship.

Andy and his team were simply AMAZING and we have been raving about his work ever since they finished – so this review is overdue! Andy obviously takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows. He worked closely with us to understand what we wanted, and was hands on in the work, ensuring the quality of everything they do is up to the highest standards. His team was consistently professional, punctual, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. Andy was open, honest, and able to trouble shoot unexpected items without it costing us more money. He finished the work on time and for the same amount originally quoted. Andy’s work exceeded our expectations and he even started hours early to hand carve a beautiful oak transition molding for our pocket door. We are so very happy with the work that he has done for us. We plan to hire him again for future projects and highly recommend NY

I could not have asked for a better experience from start to end. Andy was very thorough in the assessment, walking me through all the steps, answering to my questions and pitching ideas. My favorite thing about Andy was that he listened. He also had good taste and a serious commitment to doing work well, but more than anyone else who ever worked on my two-story brick row house, Andy listened to what I wanted and to my questions and comments throughout the construction process and did the job accordingly. Work included: demo, roofing, carpentry, masonry, refinishing, painting, and sheetrock--all done in a timely manner and for a reasonable cost. Andy is not your lowest bid. But your lowest bid is going to do a crappy job, and you'll wish you paid a little more and hired Andy.
