Melissa has an incredible feel of space and color. I highly recommend her services - I found her website via Houzz, and her portfolio really resonated with me, and what I was looking for in a designer. Melissa is attentive, resourceful and creative! I used Adams Interior Design for a complete renovation of our home in 2014. Every room, every piece of hardware, every bathroom, etc. I consulted with Melissa on every fixture and feature of the place - and I absolutely adore all of the things we found together! Melissa led a design of build-ins, directed the selection of the lights throughout the house, and was instrumental with redesign of all the bathrooms. And I am so happy with the colors Melissa selected for the house - each room has its own slight variation, but all together - incredibly calming and serene effect. Exactly what I was looking for - a tranquil retreat amid running toddlers.

Melissa has been a true professional and a pleasure to work with. Over the past year and a half, we have worked together closely on many aspects of a home renovation project. She has a keen eye for detail and design and made life easy for my husband and I when it came to a project that seemed very overwhelming. We were redesigning multiple bathrooms and for each one, she presented us with several different designs and helped walk us through what she was trying to accomplish in each one. We went shopping together and Melissa always took the time to listen to our feedback, learn our tastes and respond accordingly. Once everything was chosen, she made packets for each bathroom that she gave to our contractor and then worked closely with the contractor and tile subcontractor to make sure everything was done properly. This took one more thing off my plate and I was grateful to know that she was able to work directly with our contractors to handle any questions during the process. It was amazing to see everything come together. When it came to our kitchen, Melissa helped us choose fixtures, countertops, counter stools, kitchen table and chairs, hardware and more - all in order to create a seemless look that we LOVE. She has an amazing eye for color and picked perfect paint colors in every room in our house, and has helped me choose rugs and other accessories that work well. I found her to be respectful of our budget and also did not push extra purchases in instances when we made it clear that we wanted to use certain existing pieces of furniture or other items. She is patient, warm and easy to work with and as we continue to need design advice, there is no one I would trust more.

Melissa was extremely excited about my project. I used her "buy an eye" plan. It was a really fun design blitz. She came up with a beautiful plan for my family room in two hours that included furniture placement, drapes, area rug, and wall color. Best of all, she insisted on leaving the space better than when she arrived. She made some beautiful changes with things I already had in the house. I will definitely call her for my next project!

Melissa was amazing to work with and takes the time to understand what she thinks would work for your home/family. Melissa is a talented, organized and insightful designer. We found her a pleasure to work with. Melissa worked with us on selecting pillows, window treatments and paint color for our living room. She was able to coordinate these remaining elements to compliment our existing furniture. The final result was a coherent, balanced and comfortable space. Melissa also guided us with material selection for a small powder room where every detail is of paramount importance given the limited amount of space. She also provided us with a recommendation for a finish carpenter who did excellent work for us. Melissa was able to narrow down the overwhelming number of options of both projects to a manageable few. We would recommend her to others and look forward to working with her on our next project.

We contacted Melissa because we are planning to remodel our kitchen but felt like we had an opportunity to maximize space - but didn't know how. Melissa came out and spent a few hours with us giving us her initial thoughts and things to consider and we were thrilled with her suggestions. Very practical ideas that will work for a busy household with young kids. We also picked her brain for paint colors for other rooms in the house in addition to the kitchen - she took the time to compare samples in different areas to see how the light affected them and gave us her honest opinions. We plan to consult with her again once we have some cabinetry selections narrowed down and have already purchased the sample colors she suggested to test them out! We couldn't be happier with her input!
