My wife and I have worked with a few different interior designers over the past 25 years. We were most impressed with the services Robin Barkes gave us. She has now helped us with two separate homes and hit a home run on both. I can’t tell you how many people have complimented the colors she gently advised us on. Robin is patient, kind and prompt in regards to returning emails and calls. We will definitely use Robin’s services again in the future.

Robin was a joy to work with: professional, prompt and creative. My husband and I bought a home that checked off all of our wants but stylistically wasn't US. Robin listened to my husband and my vision and blended with her talents transformed our new home! She collaborated throughout several projects to create flow and cohesiveness. Together we chose new exterior paint colors, new interior paint colors, new main floor lighting, new furniture for family room, and the anchor project was a complete kitchen remodel. Recently, we completed a powder room remodel. It is beautiful! I have referred Robin several times to friends and will continue to do so.

Robin Barkes is a talented interior designer. We thoroughly enjoy working with her! Over the past five years, she has helped us update our dining room, master bedroom, a guest bedroom, kitchen, and flooring for our finished basement. She listens carefully, respects our budget, and gently pushes us out of our comfort zone (and we've never regretted it!). We've worked with several designers in our area and she is the one we recommend without hesitation.

We have worked with Robin on multiple projects in two different homes and can't imagine not having her help and support. Aside from being professional and personable, she is detail-oriented, incredibly smart and her kindness carries through all aspects of her work. She asks questions to help guide you toward your "style" (we didn't know we even had one!) and works with your ideas and budget to bring it all to life. When Robin moved out of state we lost our go-to designer - though we know she's helped many happy clients since. We worked with Barkes Design Group to remodel our lower level. I had many ideas of what I wanted in my head and pinned on Pinterest. Barkes Design Group did a wonderful job taking those ideas and bringing them to life! Robin was very easy to work with. She made me feel comfortable in allowing me to express my ideas, while at the same time providing professional design advice to enhance my ideas. We are extremely happy with how our lower level turned out, and I am happy to say the remodeling experience was a good one with Barkes Design Group!
