I can't recommend DeAnne highly enough! She designed our entire home (lighting, flooring, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, hardware, etc.) and I am obsessed! Every detail was thoughtfully chosen. She magically is able to provide a variety of amazing details that tie together as if it was all meant to be. Her masterful and beautiful work brings us joy every day. She truly has a gift for design!

With a new construction build the decisions are almost endless and DeAnne made those decisions so much easier. She knows her stuff and is always so helpful. She didn't try to make it what she wanted, but helped us to create our vision and made sure it all went together beautifully. With years of experience she knows what works well and what doesn't. We can't say enough about how much she helped us with the process, she helped us keep our sanity. Now we can enjoy the beautiful home she helped us to create, we love it!

DeAnne helped us through the process of both building a brand new home and decorating it from start to finish! We were rookies to what to expect with building a custom home and both worked full time jobs with 2 little kids. She was very supportive and gave us good tips to consider so we didn’t get overwhelmed by all the decisions and would like the feel of the finished spaces! She helped us focus on the important places to spend money and where we could save, and has a fantastic eye for how it will all look when pulled together - tricky when you’re looking at a 2 dimensional floor plan! We had specific design tastes that she really honored and listened to - and we love our home!!!!! Very appreciative of her help- not to mention that patience and flexibility she had to bring to the process given we did it all during the pandemic! Thank you!

DeAnne is amazing to work with. She was referred to us by friends and we will be paying that forward to our family and friends. DeAnne initially helped us with some interior decorating. We love how our new sunroom turned out. We then found ourselves struggling to select colors for repainting our stucco home. With DeAnne’s help our house turned out better than we could have imagined. We are now planning a remodel of our upstairs and we will definitely be using DeAnne for that project. She is a gifted designer/consultant – she is easy to work with, really understands what we are striving for and has a special way of helping us create what we could not see without her help!

DeAnne is amazing! She was able to help us out when I was in a panic, trying to get our house ready to sell very quickly, and she had such great ideas, and made it simple to follow through. She calmed me down in the midst of a very chaotic time - and helped us get our house looking beautiful, and it sold in 5 days!! After 13 viewings, all of the feedback we got from realtors/potential buyers was that the house looked amazing - and a number of them particularly commented on our master bedroom, which I'm sure is because of the great ideas she had for making it look so good!! I have had the best experience with Deann! A neighbor gave me her number when I needed help picking paint colors for my basement, a simple yet daunting job. She was delightful and spot on with the colors she showed me, but more than that, as we talked about how the rooms were going to be used she gave me the confidence to go ahead with some ideas I had and she started throwing out other ideas about how to pull it all together. Details I would have never thought of but have made a big difference in how the rooms now feel. She also helped me pick out carpet and has been super responsive when I've had any questions or concerns. She made the project very fun and made me feel really good about everything we did. I am thrilled with how my basement looks and I can't wait to work with Deann again!

I highly recommend Designs by D for interior design projects, large or small. DeAnne and I have worked together this summer and fall on multiple projects including the renovation of an outdated powder room and kitchen countertops, backsplash, and lighting, wallpaper for a few spaces,as well as selecting carpeting and paint for throughout my home. DeAnne has an amazing eye for design and is attentive to the customer's wishes, but also offers professional advice for updating spaces in classic (not too trendy where it will be out of style next season) and liveable way. Our time together was productive, fun and enjoyable. DeAnne is prompt in responding to questions and concerns and also willing to continue searching until the perfect fit for a space is found. The transformation of my home has been gratifying. Everything flows well together and feels warm and welcoming. Designs by D is the place I will continue to go for any home project advice.
