About Us

Principal designer Julie Mifsud founded her eponymous firm on the principles of inspired design, diligent project management, and a deep understanding of the designer-client collaboration. With a background in retail and formal training in design and color theory, Julie believes the success of her firm lies in getting the entire design concept in front of the client. Julie summarizes her approach: “I never want to leave the client frustrated or confused. I want the meeting to feel productive. I bring a minimum of three complete concepts, and a bag of material options. From there my client and I collaborate together to determine the finishing details and direction of their perfect room.”

Julie is a rare gem! She's worth every penny who made our VERY complex and high-end new construction project a lot more manageable and pleasant. I was so lucky to accidentally find her in a showroom. One word of advise when hiring her is that to clearly discuss your budget for finishes early on, so she makes her design suggestions accordingly.

We hired Julie to lead our master bath remodel and the end result is nothing short of amazing! We are so in love with our bathroom - it feels like we walk into a five star hotel bath every day. I'm in the construction industry and so appreciate the knowledge that Julie brought to not only the design and products but also the attention to detail during construction. I worked with Julie during a reorganization effort in my home. She was just amazing. Helped with picking new drapes (for the blackout "mancave" in the TV room), furniture pieces, and gave invaluable input for different styles and designs. She ordered the furniture we needed, came and hung our new drapes herself, and coordinated efforts with three different companies. I'm starting a bedroom/bathroom remodel, and I would definitely work with Julie again.
