Why have I deleted my portfolio photos? Quite simply, I love what I do. We combine my passion, professionalism, enthusiasm and experience to create spaces where my clients say they feel happiest. Years of repeat and referral clients show my track record of delivering projects on-time and on-budget.
I tailor and customize each project to my clients’ needs and budget. For that reason, I have decided to remove my body of work from Houzz and have it exclusively featured on my website: www.tumbleweedinteriors.com. I appreciate the accolades and comments on my work but the inquiries from around the globe asking about a paint color name or the brand of a lighting fixture does not allow professional interior designers to serve our clients well.
Houzz has adjusted their business model and now tags and sells products “similar to” items on uploaded photographs and we can take NO RESPONSIBILITY when those items DO NOT WORK in your home. In my firm, lighting, size, proportion, shape, form, scale and texture are carefully calculated and balanced against other elements in each room we design. In interior design, every element selected has ramifications and making a change without taking the whole room into consideration is detrimental to good design.
