Allan Potter and Metro designed and custom built a mother-in-law home on our property in less than five months from start to finish. Highly recommend his services. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the build and the quality of the subcontractors that he utilized. There was no wasted time or delays with the build. His team does beautiful cabinetry and built-ins. He is creative yet very flexible. He was extremely patient when our needs changed quickly during the process and adjustments to the project had to be made. His cost estimate was spot-on. Absolutely no hidden fees, and all billing was accurate and detailed. We received a very high quality finished home with thoughtful extras at a very fair price. His office staff is outstanding to work with as well. Will use this contractor again without hesitation for any future build/remodel.

Based upon a distant relative's recommendation, who is rather perfectionistic, my husband and I hired Allan & Metro Contractors to design, remodel and add an addition onto a 1940's house, in Norman, OK, long distance. The process was very easy because Allan is fantastic to work with! He provides guidance throughout the whole process, keeping you within your budgets, offering fantastic, appropriate suggestions, and guiding you through the process of understanding the how and why of the MANY choices which have to be made. We couldn't be happier with the way the house turned out. Please note two things: one, the Historical Society prevented us from doing anything to the outside of the home and two, I take terrible pictures (also, only four pictures are allowed).

Update October: The paint applied to my cabinets started to peel and there were a few spots that you could see the wood through it. Allan took all the doors and most of the drawers back to the shop for refinishing. Since it took longer than quoted I contacted him questioning when they were going to be reinstalled Allan then decided that he was going to charge for delivery and install. Even if I was able to get them I couldn't install them. When I emailed back that paint should not peel after 4 months he told me to pick them up or he will send them to Habitat for Humanity. I am not a litigious person and just want the quality and service I have already paid for but now I'm forced to contact a lawyer and pursue a solution that way. In the meantime my kitchen is strewn all over again. Also his guys didn't put on the outlet covers. I have 2 outlets that I am unable to fit correctly in box I did all the others myself. Remodeling is stressful enough without this problem. Metro Contractors reconfigured and remodeled my kitchen. It turned out lovely. It was completed on time and within price. What more could you ask for.

We were looking to expand the back porch area of our home into a useable family room/work-out area that would also have a view of the lake. Allan did a great job of designing such a room. It included a new covered back porch also. It gave us plenty of room for our large Christmas tree this season and our Grandchildren a place to play games away from the adults. We were pleased with the work quality and every deadline was met. If we had a concern Allan was quick to address it.

Metro Contractors did complete renovation and remodeling of my office. They finished ahead of schedule and did a great job. My office building was made in 1970s and now it looks like brand new. I am very happy and beyond satisfied. Mr. Allen Potter the owner was very professional and guided me with great ideas. They solved all of my questions and were very quick in their response. I am now using them for my other projects at office and home. I recommend them to everyone without any reservations. You can trust my review, I am a psychiatrist and I am very critical :)

A “whole house remodel” while living in it is a dirty, chaotic, and overwhelming endeavor. Trying to minimize this fact, Allan and his crew took this into consideration in their work and the decisions they made. Allan’s suggestions were helpful. He provides for high quality work. Metro remodeled several rooms in our house. He helped us design a master suite and walk in closet which we love! He also remodeled our kitchen with new floors and painted cabinets and our other two bathrooms. Allan's "team" is professional and very good at what they do. Metro was hired to renovate a house we purchased that was 48 years old and essentially untouched. They redesigned the kitchen and master suite, and renovated the foyer, living space, and created a mudroom. We hired Allan Potter because of his structural knowledge (architect by training) and his skill and willingness to work with us on design (he even offered to let us bring in a designer if we wanted). Unfortunately, we needed Allan's expertise. In redoing the kitchen, we discovered 48 year old iron pipes - with a 1 1/2 foot cracks and corrosion. We ended up needing major structural work on plumbing, but Metro was easily up to he task. I now have a BEAUTIFUL house that I love, and I have the peace of mind that my house has been well constructed.

Commented: Love the paint. What colors are those?I'm afraid I can't help much. The wall color is a custom mix. The cabinets are painted with acoustic white with a tan glaze. The quality of the photo doesn't capture the richness of the real thing....
