I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere for help. I found Napa Valley Custom Metals on Houzz and am trying to save you from falling victim to this business as I have. I hired Tyson 14 months ago to make several steel pieces for my kitchen and home. The project was supposed to take several weeks. It's been 14 months and my pieces have not been delivered. He was a no show for numerous scheduled install dates. On several of these install dates, he'd message me saying he was finishing things up, or another excuse and would be on his way in an hour, then two hours, ultimately he'd never show. I wasted several days waiting for him to show up and being led to believe he was actually coming. I tried being sympathetic to his many life challenges he used for excuses over the past year, but they just kept coming. I was mislead and lied to countless times. I've never had an experience like this with a person or business. Tyson finally showed up a few months ago with my pieces and they were made incorrectly. The measurements were off, they didn't fit and there were other issues with forgotten design/functional details. One piece was forgotten all together. Now, 14 months after the date I hired him, he's refusing to deliver. I'm out my time, money and an appliance. I've probably called, emailed and texted him and the business over a hundred times. Most of the time my messages are ignored. Hiring NVCM has been the biggest waste of my time and money. I'm left with having to seek restitution and filing complaints. I tried so hard making this work with him, giving him extension after extension. I thought I had done my homework before hiring this one. There are so many artisans who are honest, and run solid businesses. Please give one of them your money.

I had to have a fifth leg and slat support to my bed required by the mattress company. Napa Valley Custom Metal came out immediately and installed the necessary material required by the mattress company in a couple of days from my calling them. They were wonderful .

Tyson was a pleasure to work with. We had a lot of approvals and email communication before the project could get moving forward. He was very patient and made great tables for our bar. Since in place, we have been seeing a lot of happy guests enjoying the additional seating for the games.

I was looking for an iron worker or blacksmith to straighten my fireplace grates that have bent over the years. Tyson waa very respectful of the house putting down plastic to protect the floor and did an excellent job correcting the problem at the quoted price. I highly recommend him.

Talented, interesting, professional work at a very reasonable price. If you can think of it - they can build it.

Tyson created custom stainless steel tank stands for the winery. He ordered the materials and estimated the costs (which were very reasonable) and the tank stands were almost a $1,000 less than ordering the tanks out of state- and they were complete in time for this year's Harvest. He fabricated, delivered and installed them- including on-site welding for the final reinforcement braces. The beautiful stands are on our crush pad, upon which 500 gallon tanks are now supported. The assistant winemaker was thrilled. Tyson does catwalks and other winery equipment also- next he made us a steel winery address sign and a custom steel sign for tours.
