Jackson & Perkins

Shipped bare roots late and during a severe freeze.Arrived half dead. JP advised don't worry when I asked why they were shipping across country in the worst freeze in recent history. Planted them even though they were mostly brown. Now dark brown and dead. Wrote for a replacement or refund and was ignored. They can go bk again for all I care. Lousy product, service and communication.

They dont honor their garantee, is not real. I order 2 roses, both arrive dead, send them pictures, there reply was to blame it on what they calk shipping and handling shock. In the picture plant in the pot is JP plant. Overall i spend 78 dollars and they refuse to replace or refund my money. This is not the company to invest with.

DO NOT BUY FROM JACKSONS & PERKINS! IT WILL BE A TOTAL CHEAT! We have recently bought 5 x 2-Quart 'Iceberg' roses at $25.95 each. We knew they would be delivered bare-root so that immediately after we received them we have planted them all in the same area together with other roses. 1 rooted. The other 4 died soon after. We contacted J&P with the pictures, and original tags, of the dead roses to have them replaced. They never replied. We've ended up to pay a 2-Quart bare-root rose $129.75! Guislaine

My experience with Jackson & Perkins pertaining to my order was so thoroughly unpleasant that I have no desire or intention of ever purchasing from J&P or any of their other companies again. After making my order and paying by credit card, I never received any items unless I called to inquire; one of the items came many months late, was not bare root (which is what I ordered), arrived half-dead, and later died; and the customer service department was generally ineffectual and at times rude.After much discussion, I was given a refund to my credit card for the rose, but I was refused a refund on the shipping charge, even though it makes no sense that a customer should be forced to pay shipping on an item that arrives essentially dead. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that they were all on other calls. When I told the customer service rep that I would wait for the supervisor, he said they don't put people on hold. Never, never, never, ever again will I purchase from them. It is sad that a once-reputable company should have sunk so low..

Had many JP roses at my place in Md and moved to Marion SC in 03 got more and everybody wanted to know how do I have such beautiful roses and now in Myrtle Beach the same thing, great roses, easy to grow, beautiful . V Vail Myrtle Beach SC

we have purchased many roses from Jackson and Perkins [jp] before with no major problems. we buy from them due they have good products and the prices are reasonable with special offers and the delivery is quick and secure. only thing after maybe two or three years a few roses died. i did not return them due no receipt or when guarantee expired.all roses are beautiful. when we are asked where we got them from we tell them jp. not a local homedepot or lowes. thru email we get good response from jp.
