I hired Alex and team two years ago to lay a paver walkway and purchase and plant two Sylvester date palm trees. At the time, their customer service was great, and they seemed knowledgeable. However, that was far from the truth. The paver walkway they laid was not put down with the correct base apparently and all pavers have now shifted and I am left with a lousy crooked walkway. It is embarrassing. They have no idea what they are doing when it comes to laying and properly installing pavers, even though they said they do this all the time. With that said, I can deal with this problem. My biggest gripe is with the palm trees they planted. I showed them pictures of what I wanted. They brought me, from their vendor in Brownsville apparently, two trees that were much wider than what we discussed, but I was ok with it. They planted both of them, and one was very crooked from the onset. I was told that the way the sun shone on it would cause it to grow the other way and straighten out over time. I was skeptical at the time but they assured me that if it didn't straighten out within the year, they would come back and either switch out the palm for another or remove it to another less visible part of my yard and they would get me another tree. I believed them and was ok with this. The tree never straightened out, surprise surprise. I texted with Alex about this multiple times with promises he would handle this for me. After a while, he stopped responding to texts, phone calls, emails and voicemails. It has now been two years of me trying to get this taken care of to no avail. They took my money and ran. Mind you, the trees weren't the cheapest I got quoted, but they sold me on the quality and so I went with them. What a costly mistake!! They have shown me what terrible customer service is. They have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to palm trees, and I would not trust them to lay any type of pavers. Terrible service, terrible quality of work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.!!
