We recently moved to the area from out of state. Our new home is larger than our former home, so we worked with Susan to furnish a formal dining room, living room, and to add new furniture to our family room and office. We met with Susan and explained what we wanted for the color scheme, as well as our goals for the overall look of the rooms. Susan incorporated all of the existing furniture and accent pieces we already owned and wished to keep, and that was important to us. When we met to go over the design plan, we were pleased to see how well Susan had listened to our requests, and when we asked for changes to a few things, she adjusted the design plan accordingly. We felt very comfortable working with Susan, knowing she would listen actively and respond quickly to ensure we were pleased with the completed project. My husband and I would have no hesitation in using her services again, and we highly recommend her to others.

I recently had the pleasure of working with designer Susan Urgo of Ethan Allen on redecorating our bedroom. I must admit I've always been intimidated by the decorating process, afraid of making "costly" mistakes and "angsting" over decisions. That is why it was important for me to have the guidance of a professional and to that end, I can't speak highly enough about Susan. Her warm, friendly & relaxed demeanor immediately put me at ease. She listened attentively to what I hoped to accomplish and was confident that we could meet my budget. After coming out to our home, she developed a design plan & presentation that I fell in love with. She had selected pieces of furniture that were more appropriately scaled to the room and which met our needs for storage. The room itself presented some challenges due to varying ceiling heights and valleys, and Susan offered design tips as to ways we could minimize the contrast and take one's "eye" away from the fact that the bed we be off-center. She also selected finishes & colors that coordinated beautifully with a "duvet" I had purchased and wanted to work with. It was evident that she had quickly developed a sense for my style preferences and what would compliment a couple of other existing pieces in the room, which were to remain. Susan was always professional, prompt with returning calls, meeting deadlines and patiently addressed any concerns I had along the way. When our final delivery was scheduled, Susan arrived at the house to oversee the installation and make sure everything arrived in perfect condition. It was evident to me that Susan is passionate about design and truly enjoys helping people make their surroundings functional and beautiful! I look forward to working with Susan on future projects knowing that that I will be well served by her design talent & expertise.

Susan Urgo was my designer and worked with me very closely to choose the correct design, size and fabric for our sectional sofa. She was extremely professional and courteous. She came to our home so that she could have an accurate understanding of our style and needs. She measured the area to make sure that the choice I made would compliment the rest of the room. Working with Susan was such a pleasure! Our sectional sofa was delivered today and I can't tell you how happy we are! I will request to work with Susan for any future needs we might have. Susan has been integral in helping to change the energy and feel of my home through the redecorating process. In all, Susan has worked on my bedroom, sunroom, living room and foyer. In each case, she has done an amazing job and I could not be happier with the outcome. Susan is passionate in her efforts and is incredibly talented and creative.
