BACKGROUND - Siobhan is a designer and artist who has been working in the exterior design field for 18 years. Previously, she was an creative/ art director for advertising agencies. Bruce, her partner is a multi-dimensional designer who does the 3D design Master Plans. Their complimentary talents mesh well and together they create amazing holistic spaces. They have developed a special system called C.A.T.S. (color, artwork, texture and shape). Behind landscaping, they also have expertise in other areas including; veggie gardening (backyard raised beds/ edible food forests) container gardening, pool design, shade solutions, transforming outdoor rooms and patio spaces. OUR PROCESS HAS FOUR PHASES 1. Rough Plan 2. Master Plan 3. Estimating 4. Supervision of the installation How does the process work? a- We start the process with the Rough Plan, includes possible plants and hardscape elements. NOTE: This phase does not include plant counts and sizes. - A Rough Plan is similar to a planning sketch for a new house. Master Plans b- The Landscape Master Plan- is a comprehensive design plan, showing every last detail of your space, from which the the estimate is procured. - Includes plant sizes and counts. Can include exterior design recommendations relating to artwork, furniture, lighting, etc. - Cost- Starts at $475 for either a SIMPLE front or backyard for landscape, hardscape is additional. Complex plans run in the thousands of dollars. c- Hardscape Master Plan- Hardscape consists of the non-living elements of landscaping, such as a brick patio, a stone wall, or pergolas/ arbors. - Common examples of hardscape materials include concrete, brick, stone, wood, and metal. Prices vary depending on complexity. d- Working Drawings Detailed drawings for custom built elements such as pools, outdoor kitchens, construction of structures such as covered patios, decks, sheds, etc.. - Prices vary depending on complexity.

It was such fun working with Siobahn. I initially saw her portfolio here on Houzz and gave her a call. We have a large front yard that was in desperate need of TLC, and that's exactly what she gave it. Siobahn is easygoing and responsive to our needs. She works with a wonderful contractor out of Tarpon, so the whole process was very seamless. I love how she re-purposed several plants and elements that we already had, like landscape rocks. Before, our yard was just weeds and dirt and she helped us transform it into a beautiful lawn with native plants, trees, grass and pathways. Now, I love sitting on the front porch and admiring our beautiful new yard.

She has a vision, but she carefully works with you to make sure that your voice is heard in the process. She definitely had to push us a bit at times to consider things we were having a hard time visualizing, but that was a good thing. She has an amazing eye for color and scale. Thank you so much Beth & Neal! We really enjoyed doing your transformation, updating both the grounds and patios. Working at your quaint bungalow was like being transported to Key West. Designing the project, we channeled the Couch Republic Vibe, less the chickens. The yard has over 40 palm trees, creating a unique, lush overstory, but lacking in a coherent understory. (Too many out of control ferns and very little color.) We tamed the formerly ho-hum space, which is now visitor and camera ready.

I cannot praise Siobhan enough in her creative process and expertise on plants. My backyard is my private oasis and retreat now thanks to her and her crew that made it possible. My front yard feels like walking into a alice n wonderland resort. Absolutely stunning ! We had a lot of components to the entire 7 week job but they all were addressed. Aside from the plants and pots we installed 2 new decks, replaced our front paver walk up; new drainage, and side of house walkway and new lighting. The one thing that was convenient was the crew was always professional and on time for the entire 7 weeks and they only outsourced one component of the job (paver front walkway). The plants she put in were all low maintenance and so unique. Just the layering of different plants inside one pot truly is her wheelhouse. Some of these plants i’ve never even seen before so I appreciate the uniqueness. She also tried to incorporate herbs and edibles (banana trees) into the landscape. The most helpful thing she did was give us a “plant care” sheet to help us with watering schedules and feeding/ trimming instructions for all the plants and trees. We are truly blessed to have met her and worked with her. The end result is something to see and my entire neighborhood is blown away and have done nothing but compliment us on the transition. What a journey! This project was a challenge not only because of the small/complicated/corner-lot site but also because the installer got covid and by the time he recovered his helpers had moved on! There is no win without pain! I'm happy to report that all came out excellent and that Siobhan was there from beginning to end, always supporting us and holding our inexperience hands!. She went like 5 extra miles (not just the traditional extra mile ;) ) and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the final job. And we are! The landscape is beautiful and what a huge difference it has made on our property curb appeal and our spirits. Siobhan is a professional landscape designer who designed and oversaw the installation of all plants, sod and irrigation of my entire yard. She is on the high end in regards to price and she is very creative coming up with extra fees and not very good with follow up after paid in full.

We hired Siobhan to create a landscaping design for our property. We had previously renovated and expanded our pool and lanai, and wanted to bring the surrounding landscaping up to par with those renovations. During our initial meeting, Siobhan was attentive and curious when discussing our vision, needs and lifestyle. She suggested several unique ideas to utilize our property to its fullest, and was thoughtful and knowledgable when suggesting specific plants that would thrive in this particular environment. Siobhan worked with us from design to implementation on a very large project to transform our front yard. During the design phase, she listened to what we wanted, adjusted the plan according to our feedback, and proposed some planting ideas we could never have imagined on our own. We removed most of a tennis court, our driveway and some very old plantings around it and converted the area to a smaller sport court with a yard, pavers and plantings. Siobhan helped us pick the pavers as well as all the plantings. We particularly enjoy the plants we never know about as they are well suited to the Florida tropical environment and very beautiful to look at . Once the design was approved, we hired Siobhan to oversee the implementation. I am glad we did this as she was able to deal with issues as they arose and make adjustments to the plan when needed, while keeping the overall vision intact. We highly recommend Siobhan for her knowledge of Florida plantings, her design work and her supervision of the project. In addition to doing a great job, she is a pleasure to work with and to know. The transformation is amazing. The photo of the "after" is one year after the project was completed.

FL Person

I was interested in replacing my concrete driveway and lackluster landscape with pavers and new plantings. I wanted an updated, tropical design with a good, functional flow and knew I couldn't fully conceptualize the desired changes on my own. My home has little curb appeal, with the primary facade consisting of a garage door a fairly ugly shed roof above. Whatever changes were to be made would become the new focal point of the home when viewed from the street. I gave Siobhan some general guidelines, emphasizing my desire for a low maintenance tropical design and a paver layout that would tie the front of the house in with the rear. After the initial consultation, Siobhan presented a concept on paper. We made some tweaks and then moved to a CAD 3D rendering. It is hugely beneficial to be able to see the concept in 3D, especially with motion.. After a few more tweaks to the design, we moved forward to construction. The end result is a dramatic, functional change that I simply could not have come up with on my own. Siobhan has a great demeanor and is easy to work worth. I found her on this site and I'm glad I did. Thanks Siobhan!

Our backyard is small and has a large pool cage and we wanted a design that was friendly to the environment and beautiful. Siobhan is exceptional and fully delivered. She is an artist who has an expertise in design and a passion for gardens, the environment and tropical landscapes. Equally impressive is her ability to work with people. We interviewed three landscaping professionals and decided to go with Siobhan because she offered a more creative vision for our project. We were looking for backyard landscaping that complemented our rustic home and integrated plants and hardscapes that were different from most Florida homes. Siobhan's deep knowledge of plants allowed her to design a unique project that produced a real "wow" factor. In fact, our neighbors continue to marvel at the transformation as the yard went from dirt, leaves, and a few patches of grass to a beautiful oasis featuring low maintenance plants, beautiful pottery, and a combination herb/butterfly garden. Siobhan went above and beyond to ensure that our project came in under budget and on time and, more importantly, she coordinated the entire project for us.

Tropical Home and Garden

Siobhan is incredibly talented. We have a large property and have used Siobhan on a number of projects. we interviewed Siobhan, along with a few other designers. i liked her creative, out of the box thinking and she provided several options to contemplate our budget. the finished product is stunning - colorful, Spanish villa vibe and useful. We have had several other vendors and friends come over and ALL have remarked on how lush and beautiful our yard is. The common comment is that it looks like a "resort," which is exactly what we were going for! we used Siobhan's landscaper (Green Dreams), paver, irrigation and lighting installers. the only negative has been that within 3 months, some of the plants have died so we are working with Green Dreams to determine the cause and hope to revitalize them. I met with Siobhan and explained my desire to add signature pieces to the property's multiple patios. We toured the property and discussed a master plan to add not only pots but flower beds and fountains. We decided to break the project into smaller pieces starting with the the pots, followed by a major flower bed, side flowers beds and several palm trees. Siobhan is a remarkable designer and project manager. Within weeks, the pots were selected and order. Eleven pots for the upper patio, 10 pots for the lower patio, 3 for the pool patio, 6 for the front door area and 16 zen bowls for the columns surrounding the property. The landscaper prepped the beds, put in the appropriate sprinkler heads, planted and mulch. From start to finish, she oversaw the work. What was promised was delivered. Hassle free. Truly a remarkable experience with a beautiful result. Once the pots were placed, Siobhan worked her magic transforming them into magnificent flowering pieces of art. She then moved onto creating a pot fountain garden surrounded by flowering cabbages and flowers. Again no hassles. The fountain works perfectly. I highly recommend her for not only the design but implementation as well. I will continue implementing the master plan in 2017 with her. Stay tuned

I consulted with Siobhan to help me design changes to my front and back yard. She is amazing–she absorbs a lot of information very quickly, and draws a proposed plan up during the first meeting, based on our conversation. She will formalize that plan and quote the project afterwards, depending on which parts I agree upon. I will be working with her this Spring to plant new trees and bushes in my yard, and I have some time to think it through right now. She is an excellent person to work with, very responsive to who you are as a person and what your vision is. I love that she provides this first step that allows you to see what is possible, before you have to commit to anything else. It's really helpful if you haven't done this before, like me. Highly recommended!

Thus far my review is for consultation only, but I had a 5Star consult experience Siobhan. Mark and I needed a design professional who knew MORE than we did, didn't just want to lay out a plan for what we already knew and could do ourselves. Siobhan is knowledgeable and a good listener. The time flew by and I enjoyed working with her to come up with a potential plan for hardscape and landscape. I so appreciated that Shiobhan stated her opinion on things (e.g., house color trim), but when I told her we loved the trim, she let it go immediately and nonjudgmentally and rolled with the trim as a given. At the same time she didn't stomp all over my opinions or our taste -- I already knew our outside lights were ugly, so no surprise there! Now we just have to decide what we are going to do with our project and then I look forward to reaching out to Siobhan again for the next stage!

I knew of Siobhan's creative work in the community but didn't understand her talent until we hired her to do a consultation . She totally "got me" and drafted a plan that was easy to implement and a dramatic improvement for under $500. Her knowledge and expertise is only surpassed by her personality. I hired Siobhan to come and inspect my yard and help me plan out what to do to give it more curb appeal. She spent a couple of hours here and told me practical ways to improve its appearance by using what I had by simply moving plants to different locations and adding a few trees and bushes to stay within my limited budget. She drew a rough detailed sketch and told me exactly what to buy and also listed what I would need when I wanted to expand on my plan. I really appreciated her input and got right on it. The difference in just those few changes is amazing. The curb appeal is so much better and I'm not done yet! It was worth her small consultation fee.

Siobhan designed the interior of my home and my garden. She planned a different decor for every room such as oriental living room, African family room, and rain forest master bedroom to name a few. Not only is every room different and beautiful, but all of them flow together. It' s amazing and I have the pleasure of enjoying every day! My garden is just as beautiful with shell pathways, seventeen color painted cement patio slab and wonderful painted mural on the side of my home next to my hot tub. I receive compliments all the time; I am constantly amazed.

When we built our bungalow in 1994 on an old orange grove, we started out with pasture of sand, stickers, bahia grass and a few transplanted oaks. My acre is loaded with the nematodes and torpedo grass and very alkaline, sandy soil that go with old grove land. We therefore had a number of specific problems to solve with a very large, sandy, dry Tampa Bay front yard along with a too-small patio and lack of pathway hardscape in the back. In short, everything was a weedy, scruffy, ugly mess. Siobhan had some attractive, cost-efficient ideas & solutions. I approved her excellent plan drawings and was finally able to start to implement it in the summer of 2013, in two phases. Honoring my request to use as many native species as possible while adding color and wow-factor by using other Florida-friendly plants, Siobhan's plant list was great. The structure and layout of the new hardscape beds and patio pavers is excellent, providing very attractive "flow". Her seasonal containers are beautiful. My new trees, a mix of natives and colorful landscape choices for shade and screening from neighbors are maturing nicely. Our efforts to control and disguise the unbeatable torpedo grass are working with her ground cover choices. We've had to make some adjustments here and there, replacing a few smaller shrubs that just can't deal with the alkalinity, but overall my yard is thriving. It's also really attracting native birds, animals and pollinators while looking great! My twenty yr. old yard is now liveable and I'm spending more time relaxing in it. It's finally attractive from the street and is now in keeping with our home's value. I am continuing to hire Siobhan's services as we phase in other improvements and adjustments to the plant list, and I couldn't be happier with her work and with her crew.

I hired Siobhan to design a landscape plan for my home in Dunedin Florida. I have a very large back yard with a pool (not caged) with a few large trees, a planting bed by the house, a few odd plants around the pool and not much more. I wanted to create a landscape with lots of variety and color,and plants that would attract birds and wildlife for viewing, with an emphasis on Florida native plants. I interviewed several designers before choosing Siobhan. The price we agreed to was comparable to the quotes I received from 3 Landscape Designers. I found her to be highly professional, on time for appointments, knowledgable with regard to plant material, and highly creative with regard to outdoor living spaces and garden art and accessories. We met several times to discuss my vision, likes and dislikes, and timeline for implementation. I provided her a list of plants I wanted to include. Within a short time she provided me a draft for the back yard, that included hardscape patio areas, outdoor living ideas and detailed plantings. She produced it using a computerized system. I provided her some changes and she produced the final plan very quickly. She followed up the following week with a hand drawn plan for the front. While the plan she provided me exceeded the vision I had for my home, it has many aspects that I will implement over time. She was able to recommend tradesman to tackle the heavy work and I was very pleased with their performance, as I am with hers. I will post photos as the work gets underway in the fall.
