A Happy Home Remodeling

All I'm gonna say is look elsewhere. Husband and wife team are scammers. My contract was signed on July 8th and its October and bathroom is still not finished. I have since had to have someone else finish the job. Gave them a total of $20k. Workmanship was garbage. His FIRST sub came out and destroyed my downstairs bathroom to install a peatrap that should have been installed from above and not below. Also the sub ruined my main line when he swept and poured peat gravel and grout down the shower drain. Spent another $20K to have my main line replaced. And these were his "best guys"?! He never responds and his wife lies about procuring materials. Gave me some BS about how my barn doors were cancelled because they weren't available anymore, yet when I ordered them AGAIN, they were delivered under a day. Paid for vanity and light fixtures, never got them. You could attempt your own bathroom remodel and do a better job than these clowns. I have since hired a legal counsel, but I don't think he even has general liability insurance either, so BEWARE!!

Chris Torres, the owner of AHHR, has been disorganized, dishonest, disrespectful, has not completed work, the work that he and his crew did complete has not been to code or contract, and the work is very poorly done. We must pay thousands of dollars now to complete work he never finished, and to fix work that was not done properly. We signed a contract with AHHR on April 24th. Chris missed most appointments and scheduled work, delaying what was supposed to be a 2 week project for five months now. We have payed $29,200.00 out of $30,000.00. We were put under immense pressure to pay otherwise he told us he wouldn’t be able to pay his employees. The work has not been completed as of September 26, 2020. Issues: front door took 4 weeks to partially install and was not completed, leaving huge gaps in our wall. They incorrectly measure doors and windows, then sawed into the brick walls them fit. The installation is unprofessional with no backer rods, leaky sealant, weep holes covered. The caulking is already cracking. Caissons were not installed for porch cover. Dry wall was not fixed. Trash left throughout the house and yard. Garbage not removed and has been in our back yard for 5 months. Our wood and tiled floors were scratched. People showed up to work, only to leave due to lack of payment by Chris, or lack of supplies. We missed many days of work expecting AHHR to be remodeling our home, only to have no one show.

Started in February 2020 and still not completed. Owner did not pay contractors, they walked out during construction. Wrong supplies delivered, lack of communication. Plumber fell through living room ceiling. Plumbing leaks into ceiling. Patches done , painting not done. Shower improperly sealed, leaks. Chris Torres, promises does not deliver.

I was recommended this company and I am very pleased with the service! I would say anyone looking for a great home remodeling this is your company! My bathroom looks amazing!

There were some issues with the project schedule and some rework that was required - we have come to resolution on the open items
