We are a cooperative of fine builders and woodworkers providing full service, high quality, and energy efficient residential construction to Vermont since 1998. We offer a wide range of services, from new home construction to additions and remodeling. Malcolm Gray from Montpelier Construction was my contractor for a project adding a second bathroom to my house. From the start he was creative in all aspects of the project. He suggested a design for the bathroom that was less expensive than the one I had originally thought of. He saw an opportunity to add some ceiling insulation during the work making that section of the house warmer. He had suggestions about the use of space and fixtures which made the bathroom efficient, attractive and in keeping with the style of the house. All of the people on his team (carpenters, electrician, plumber) were very skillful, personable and a pleasure to work with. I am delighted with the outcome of the project. Malcolm’s team has also done insulation in my basement and other smaller projects. I have been pleased with all of them.

Completely satisfied on all fronts. This was our second extensive house renovation project, the first being with another firm in another state. After the challenges of that project it was a relief and breath of fresh air to work with the Montpelier Construction team. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism came through in every way, and the proof is in the finished product -- beautiful! We did a complete kitchen/bath renovation, and took out a load-bearing wall and installed a steel beam to make an open floor plan.
