After ten years of experience in architecture and planning, Charles Stewart founded Charles M. Stewart Architects upon the three cardinal principles of classical architecture: firmitas, strength; utilitas, utility; and venustas, beauty. Since 1982 these principles have led to the creation of durable, useful, and elegant buildings and have also guided the relationships our firm strives to build with its clients, many of whom are repeat customers. We pride ourselves on listening carefully to our clients’ needs and desires, creating in response not only an excellent design program but one that best realizes their requirements. We treat our clients and all involved in our projects with the utmost respect. Ours is a service industry, and we are here to serve, to work quickly, efficiently, and cheerfully with our clients and allied professionals in the fields of design and construction.
