About Us

At Classic Designs Group, our first love is building with logs, timbers and stonework. We're passionate about rustic architecture and the creative expression it allows. With more than 15 years of log, timber and conventional building construction and design experience, president and designer Randy Kaatz has amassed the knowledge, skills and track record to help make your home design and building process enjoyable and less complicated. "I approach every room as a piece of art, every home as a masterpiece," explains Randy. "As a professional building designer, I listen carefully to you so I can direct you toward solutions that bring your ideas to life. The result is a unique home created to express your individuality, complement your lifestyle and provide you with years of enjoyment." From site selection and evaluation, through final inspection, you can count on Classic Design Group to help make the entire building process smooth and satisfying.
