David Borenstein Architects & Builders

We hired David Borenstein to be our project Architect for our $5m five year historic hotel renovation in Rhinecliff, New York. David was superb throughout, he is a highly skilled, inventive and problem-solving architect, he completely understood and was on board, and became instrumental in helping us achieve our design goals, which were a mix of ultra modern and green amenities and fixtures, within a classically historic environment. More importantly even, as he is a highly skilled builder, he gave constant priceless advice and input on best, smartest and most cost-effective methods of construction throughout. He is a fearless problem solver and is not afraid to take bold action with subcontractors who are not performing as they should. Overall David was outstanding professionally, and a pleasure to work with generally due to his relaxed and confident nature, a true gem in a world of greatly varying skills.
