About Us

We are about listening to our clients’ needs as well as their hopes and dreams. We are about exceeding expectations. We are Architecture 101. “I wanted to name my firm something I could believe in. I love to teach, to educate. I love good design and the importance of history. 'Design House’ encompasses what we are all about.” Design House, based in beautiful Miami, Florida, designs residential and commercial properties in Florida and the Caribbean, as well as other major cities. Principal Jacob Woloshin, who graduated from the University of Miami School of Architecture, has worked at the prominent international firms Arquitectonica and William Karr & Associates. We has worked on such varied and interesting projects as a public train station on the Ohio River, a residential tower in Aventura, Fla., and a 126,000-sq.-ft private residence in the U.S.Virgin Islands. At Design House, we offer a full array of services, including design suggestions, urban planning and product design. His specialty is working closely with clients to create a final product that elegantly meets both their needs and vision and far exceeds their expectations.
