About Us

We are a residential architecture firm specializing in classic shingle style and New England seaside designs throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. We collaborate with our clients to design new homes, renovations and additions that respond to their wants and needs. At the first meeting, we involve you in the design process. We design your project together! Once the design is completed and in the computer, you can experience your new home in 3D. We can walk through each room to feel what it will be like to live in the space. Our clients receive personal attention from the beginning of design through construction. We help you prepare for Town and State requirements and can aid in the selection of engineers and contractors. We continue to represent you during the building process. We believe in effective communication between all parties involved. A team approach between the Owner, Architect, Engineers and Contractors is a key component in making this process go as smoothly as possible.

When we first met with Lisa, we were immediately impressed by the level of interest she took in our project. She took the time to really listen to what our vision and dream was, namely to add an extensive addition to our beach house without losing the beach house feel and charm. She accepted and incorporated our wish list and managed to add many beneficial suggestions along the way to a finished set of plans. I can honestly say that she created exactly what we had hoped for literally by the second draft. From early in the process, she had captured our dream and only minor revisions and improvements took place thereafter. Lisa has been a pleasure to work with and an invaluable resource as well. While we already knew of a surveyor, Lisa recommended the contractor and other professionals along the way, all of whom were top notch. We would not hesitate to recommend Lisa and Krista to friends and family, and in fact have already done so with our neighbor!!!

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Lisa who designed a beautiful home for us. She was very quick to tune in to exactly what we were looking for in home design. She made suggestions and really heard what we were saying. She was able incorporate every single thing we were looking for. She was very professional and very easy to work with. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with our home. It is still under construction but it looks like we will be finished on time and on budget.

Lisa was very helpful when I posted a question on Houzz about working with an awkward soffit in my kitchen and putting in new kitchen cabinets. She listened to what I was asking and gave me several workable suggestions! I was very thankful for her advice.

Lisa Carlisle gutted out my old kitchen and designed a new modern kitchen beautiful in design and efficient in function. She also designed a master bathroom and was able to provide a contemporary design and exquisite en suite. Lisa worked with me to incorporate my budget and ideas into her design.She worked closely with my contractor and adapted to changes as they arose. Lisa is competent, professional, timely and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her services.
