I highly recommend Mike Gorenstein for his professional experience, skill and vision in home renovation. Moving into a hundred-year-old Tudor occupied by its previous resident for fifty years presented a challenge. We loved the house and it needed serious updating. From our first project — a great room — to a massive renovation and expansion of the entire second floor and kitchen, Mike was knowledgeable, creative and a true professional. He listened to our lifestyle and was always available throughout the construction process. He was instrumental in many of our selections along the way, including building materials, and on occasion, wallpaper and furniture. He maintained the architectural style of our older home which we were able to enjoy in twenty-first century comfort.

Michael has created an outstanding design for our new home. He collected our requirements, and combined the new parts with the existing ones in an extremely nice way. We have selected his firm since we really liked a house he had built for our friends. Michael was always on time. We were generally on the budget, but sometimes we had to go over due to some new requirements on the design. Although it was discussed in the contract, sometimes we did not expect those extra expenses.
