About Us

R3design is a design consultant firm created to help clients achieve their design goals within their budget and timeframe. As an architect, I have over 15 years experience in the field with over 10 years experience in project management. I have completed many successful projects with clients. I have worked in small and medium architectural firms. I have worked on many commercial projects including retail, restaurants, office, and multi-unit residential in Michigan as well as throughout the country. I have also worked on residential projects which include interior renovations, color selection, etc. I develop an understanding for each client’s needs and I am able to integrate their ideas into the design through programming, finishes, materials and details. I have a strong work ethic, complete projects efficiently and accurately. I am a well organized, accurate and a detail oriented individual.

Maria of R3design was extremely helpful to us with choosing paint colors for our home. She worked well with all of the angles and high ceilings in our house, and did a great job building upon our preferences, not hers. Overall great experience!

Maria is absolutely fabulous. I needed to replace the counter tops and back splash in my kitchen to bring it up to date. At first, I thought this would be easy; but, I was soon overwhelmed by the choices available to me. Maria brought all the appropriate samples to my home and listened carefully to what I was trying to accomplish. Turned out my goal for the look I wanted and the choices I was thinking of making were two different things. Her suggestions helped me see things a little differently and I ended up making the perfect selection to achieve my goals. It has been a few months since the installation was completed and I still get excited every time I enter my kitchen! I couldn't have done this without Maria's expertise.

Maria, with R3design, did an amazing job helping us redecorate our home. She spent time getting to know us, our likes and dislikes and reviewing our needs. Her color choices changed our main living areas from basic neutrals to warm, cozy vibriant colors and was able to make our house become our home! Her suggestions to move furniture and existing wall prints kept us under budget while changing the entire look of the rooms. We will continue to work with her and highly recommend her!

Maria from R3design was just wonderful to work with. Her low key, easy going style helped reduce the stress of making the right changes to our home. We were remodeling our kitchen and utility rooms. Maria sat down with us, discussed the look we wanted to achieve, and developed some great alternatives. We showed her some paintings we planned to hang in those rooms, and she came up with a color scheme that was the perfect backdrop for the paintings. At her suggestion, we painted our out-of-date stained woodwork and replaced the tile flooring with laminated flooring. By suggesting multiple colors and shades in the kitchen, Maria turned our drab kitchen into one we love to work in. She worked hand in hand with our contractor, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to upgrade the appearance of their home. We're looking forward to working with Maria on our next project.

I have worked with other designers in the past and it always seems to be a long process to get to the final decisions on design. Maria is quite the opposite. She is able to drill down to the taste and goals of the client very quickly and present a proposal. Maria is very talented, professional, and straight forward. I own a home improvement company and have hired Maria to work on my home personally, and have worked with her professionally. I take advantage of every opportunity to collaborate with Maria on projects with my clients and they are always delighted with the results.
