Melissa has enjoyed design for most of her life. She graduated with a Masters in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University and was immediately invited to join the ReTouch team. Since then she has been working with both ReTouch and Indwell to help clients create beautiful spaces. Her primary service is the redesign of existing spaces to achieve their maximum potential. Melissa is great at sitting down with a client and discussing exactly what they are looking for in their new space and figuring out how to achieve their goals. "I am a designer. I have always enjoyed creating new and exciting designs for everything. Although I love all aspects of design, I find that I thrive in the area of space planning and I enjoy the separation and connection of spaces and how it creates the movement and flow of a building. I look forward to helping you create the most of your space!" --Melissa Kara graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture & Product Design from Kansas State University in 2007. She jumped into the remodeling industry right out of school and grew her experience in helping to create custom award-winning homes. After that, she started her own company, Kara Kersten Design, with a passion for combining art and architecture. Exited to work with more of an emphasis on collaboration she chose to join the ReTouch team. Kara is great at meeting the clients' needs and wants, while bringing that spark of creativity that exceeds your project expectations. "Residential Design & Remodeling is a very personal process.
