I've already recommended Ronald Van Pelt to several people who were thinking about building a home in upstate SC. My family was having a hard time finding an architect who could grasp our vision. While working with our second architect I met with several builders, one was Mr Van Pelt. While admiring several of the homes he had built, I found out he had also been the architect. After that meeting with him in 2015, we let our second architect go and turned the job completely over to Mr Van Pelt; it has been a virtually stress-free experience ever since. Mr Van Pelt has allowed us to stay involved in the process, has communicated effectively, has been respectful of our budget, has helped us work through several challenging design elements, and has eliminated any conflicts between the Architect and General Contractor. Additionally, we have peace-of-mind knowing our long-term satisfaction is important to him. He is an honest & trustworthy partner in the building process. We simply can not say enough good things about him and his work.

Ron has done this for a long time so he knows this ins and outs of building a house. I also like that I can trust Ron to do what he says he will do.
