Steve is a consummate professional. With his great attention to detail he brought our design concepts to reality in a timely and cost efficient manner. We got everything we wanted in terms of a modern style home and then some. The highlight of our dream home being our rooftop deck which offers a 180 degree view of the ocean. After having worked with another designer on our new house, we decided to move on and found S.P. Riley Residential Design on the Houzz website. After our first meeting we knew we had found the right designer. Steve's credentials speak for themselves and his incredible attention to detail, his knowledge of what works and what doesn't work and his patience with our questions gave us the confidence to move forward. Steve knew that we were on a tight budget and tried to incorporate some of our champagne tastes into our beer budget. He did add some of his own creative ideas which where well received and added some uniqueness to our home. Steve is very confident in what he does and was exactly what we were looking for (being first time home designers/builders) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend S.P Riley Residential Design Ltd.!

Kettle River Timberworks Ltd.

We supplied and installed timber framing for one of Steve's projects. Steve's eye for good proportion and building functionality was very apparent. Timber framing inside and out was tastefully designed. Client's were very pleased with the end result and the house went on to when several Georgie Awards.
