Dave is amazing, he put together our addition drawings to our ideas in a short amount of time, it came out exactly as we envisioned. I would recommend Dave Sechler to anybody. Dave specializes in custom builds, I have seen many of his designed houses, they are exceptional.

Working with David on the "Muzychenko" project was smooth. The design process is always the first real hurtle and partnering with an architect that works well for you and your clients alike is rather stressful. Will they be intuitive enough to understand your vision? Will they have the patience to deal with the inevitable back and forth? Will they have the knowledge and skill set to guide you when you're asking for something that will cause problems during production? David was professional; Shared his opinion but didn't impose. Fine balance, but he held it well. David was prompt and properly paced. He did rush the clients but also kept things on track to prevent stagnation. David expected progress but didn't throw in the towel when an additional revision was needed. David was fair in his service fee and didn't nickel and dime which is much appreciated when so much of the process has nuance. David was reasonable in his schedule availability for meetings either via phone or in person. His demeanor was professional and polite and welcoming. The process of structural engineering was simplified due to his package price/set up. This was convenient and alleviated much of the typical he said she said between the architect and engineer. Worked out very well in theory and in practice. I've worked with several custom architects, and David is someone I will work with again gladly. I appreciated his approach and his execution. Lastly, but possibly most important, David was reachable and responsive after the completion of the plans. Some questions arose from the county that we unforeseeable and David stepped up. Those are the characteristics that in my opinion are most important.

We started with an outline of our wants for our dream home. Dave took this outlined and turned it into a beautiful home design with everything on our Wish list. Dave was open and available to discuss our initial plan, helped us through his design and listened closely to our questions and made great suggestions. The home design is well balanced and all spaces were designed with optimal use of space. We highly recommend Dave.

Dave Sechler has created two beautiful houses for us up in Paradise Valley Estates (and a couple iterations of others as I figured out what I wanted) . He is a talented architect and has always been very responsive and patient as I changed my mind. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to design your dream home. NOTE: I have put the completion date of the first home; the second will be done fall 2024

I have worked with Dave on multiple custom mountain builds and have found him very through, open to comments, and responsive before and during the build process. We are currently working on two additional builds in Gilpin County were his support and input are greatly appreciated.
